Truth For Life with Alistair Begg

I'm an old man and have the last few years, been discouraged, depressed with serious medical issues which have worn me out.

Recently, I have begun a daily ritual which has rekindled my spirit. Early in the morning, I get up and after making myself a cup of coffee, I retreat into my bedroom to listen to Alistar's insightful, spiritual exposition of God's word.
I listen to Truth for Life off the website via cell phone and earphones.

His messages calm my heart and clarify my focus, to share what Christ has done, is doing in my life and made me more useful to the handful of dear friends I have about me.

I get to encourage them, nurture them and
buy their breakfast and tell them what Christ has done for me and can do for them.

I am blessed and grateful beyond measure.

My wife and I have been attending Parkside Church for the last 36 years. We have been listening to Truth for Life via radio almost since the beginning when it started to air on WCRF - Cleveland Moody Radio and then via internet. We still listen to Alistair on radio and internet. His teachings are biblical based and with clarity. And, that is what we love about Alistair. He speaks nothing but the Truth. Alistair’s Ministry has been a blessing in our lives … he keeps us to focus our lives on Christ on bad days and good days. Just cling to Jesus, no matter what.

I'm from the Philippines and I have been blessed by Alistair Begg's ministry- Truth for Life. His preachings/teachings are biblically sound, relevant, and simple. God opened my eyes, for I've been attending churches where preachings are generally moralistic, and as I've listened to Truth for Life, it led me to truly know Jesus- his heart for sinners and his complete and saving works on the cross. Truth for Life is faithfully preaching Jesus Christ and that's what the hungry soul needs. May the Lord use this ministry and bring this to all parts of the globe. To Jesus, all be the glory!

Pastor Begg's preaching certainly gave me great encouragement and helped establish my faith in Jesus. God is certainly using his teachings to help me go through the difficult time.

Alistair Begg is gem in that he teaches the Bible in such a compelling, winsome and truthful manner. It is quite obvious that Truth for Life is not a money-making endeavor because so much content is free and otherwise very inexpensive. And Begg's Scottish accent makes the listening very easy for me.

I listen to Alistair Begg almost everyday. He's one our generation's best communicators of the timeless truths of Scripture. He is faithful in his exposition and dynamic and engaging in his delivery. My husband and I recently moved to Ohio and started attending Parkside Church. We both already knew of Alistair’s teaching and had been blessed by his radio show and podcasts. I love that Alistair is a genuine teacher of the Bible. He doesn’t add to or take away from the word. I also love how he uses genuine humor to help make difficult topics palatable.

A few years ago, I heard Alistair on the radio. At the time, something was amiss at my church. I couldn't stay focused anymore. I realized that I was spiritually dead. The more I listened, the more I wanted to listen. During the pandemic, I attended Parkside Livestream. I am now a member of Parkside. The resources are so helpful, and I share them with my family and friends. I finally have a solid relationship with my Savior, because a church cared enough to share Alistair with the rest of us. He is Biblical, he is a wonderful teacher and he is honest in how he uses our offerings. He also send missionaries to the remotest of places, so that they can learn what the Bible says about our need for station in Christ.. God bless Alistair, his family, the assistant Pastors, and my new Church family . I am sure I have forgotten something, oh! He reaches people by Facebook and Podcasts, too. He loves the Lord deeply.

Absolutely brings Scripture to life. He always encourages you to go and read and check on his sermon points. He is very good at “setting the stage” so you understand the context of the Scripture he is focused upon. I have learned so much from his preaching. I first heard Alistair when channel surfing on my car radio. I was challenged by the short sermon and told my older son about him . By accident I happened to be listening to the radio this past January when Alistair Beggs program was on. And was immediately taken by his humor this presentation and his fearless approach to the scriptures. I went to The Truth for Life website and found an amazing array of helpful spiritual AIDS. I get his devotionals everyday which consists of a short reading and a mini sermon-what a blessing it is to start each day with him. I can't recommend this website enough it has helped this new Christian along the walk more than any other resource that I have found available.

Started listening on the radio, then found TFL online. So much treasure there that has help me more than I have words to express. And it was all free! We are delighted to be donating monthly now, to help share these resources with others at no cost.

Listening for many years to Alistair Begg's teaching on Truth For Life has been uplifting and informative. I had been seeking the Lord to lead me to a place where the whole word of God was taught, even the difficult parts. I was (am) hungry for the word to be taught as written, not to have my ears tickled. Well, He answered me more fully than I could have imagined, pressed down, shaken together and running over! He led me to TruthForLife and I have grown in my spiritual life and understanding in this past year. Alistair teaches with clarity and understanding that I’ve never heard before this. He probes deeply into the text and has amazing insight and ability to articulate what the Word is saying. I love listening to Alistair Begg. I first heard him long, long ago when I was a new believer. He inspired me to study with him diligently so I would feel confident when sharing my faith with others. I began listening to Truth For Life on a daily basis at the beginning of 2020. I have truly enjoyed hearing Pastor Begg’s preaching and was delighted to find another resource in which to expand my knowledge of the Word of God. His genuine passion and love for God is truly refreshing! He has such a way with words and a remarkable gift for making the various Scriptural texts fit together in a clear, concise manner.

Saved as a 12 year old boy, I wandered away from the church as a teenager and spent 40 years in the wilderness having lost my way. Thanks to the grace of God, He never left me, but called me back to my precious Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Early in this critical time of renewal, the Lord guided my radio dial to a Scotsman preacher on the radio who taught the Bible through his sermons. His name was and is Alistair Begg on a radio program titled 'Truth for Life'. This teaching was pure scripture and was and is a breath of fresh air each time I tune in. I started listening to Alistair around 2 or 3 yrs ago. I suffer chronic mental illness and on a particular day, I heard Alistair preaching. After listening to him for a while I realized that the best way to have hope to live day in and day out is to keep pressing on for the Lord. Truth for Life is a Bible centered program ministered by Alistair Begg, who is humble man whom God uses to preach the Gospel with truth and clarity. I have been a Christian for many years and you do not hear this kind of teaching in most churches of worship. I live in the Bay Area in California and see the importance of hearing the wonderful Truth of the Bible. I don't know of any other program that offers their books and CD's at cost.

Pastor Begg's main objective is to get the Good News out of who God is and what He has done for us. Pastor Begg preaches and teaches with truth and conviction from the Old Testament through the New Testament about God's redemptive story through His Son, Jesus Christ.

I am a truth partner and have been for a number of years, because I too want to participate in helping spread the Gospel. I know that the money I give is used for just this purpose. When there is a Live Stream, I will get up early to watch before I attend my own morning services. I try and get all the books Pastor Begg recommends to read them. They are such a blessing in my walk with God. I buy extra copies to give away to those I know or think would benefit from reading them.

Life isn't easy. Blind faith is just as difficult. Finding a teacher with God's true given gift to lead people so we can navigate the difficulties is just as hard. But Alistair Begg is a teacher led and taught by the Holy Spirit. And those hungry and seeking such will be led to his teachings irregardless of this site. You WILL want to know more, you WILL learn more and you WON'T be the same person no matter how much you fight against it and Satan fights against you to keep you away from Truth For Life. Truth For Life-eternal Life -in the Kingdom of God. Thank you. Still and always will be a daily work in progress. If the teachings don't get you, your guilt will.

The accent is what “hooked” me. But the clarity and solid teaching is what has kept me. I listen daily, and often search out sermons (topically) on website for a second daily dose.
Just hearing the little “jingle” they play before each broadcast makes me smile with anticipation!

Through the in-depth expository preaching of Alistair Begg on TFL, I have gained so much insight and understanding of the Bible and consequently God's purpose and plan not only for me but His whole creation. I first heard Alistair on the satellite radio. I was just blown away with his teaching and explaining the Bible in a way that made it personally applicable to my life. Truth For Life is just that. It is the truth that God is the Creator and Sustainer of the Universe, and that He cares for us. Pastor Begg preaches the Bible in a warm, often witty, but always wise manner. He teaches that the truth of God's grace, power and love to all who come to him. He reminds us that knowing about the Word of God is not the same as drinking in the Word and applying it to our lives. The focus is all on the worship of God. I have been a daily listener for years, and will be as long as this program exists. Besides the sermons, there are wonderful monthly resources offered to help remind us that in spite of all the darkness in the world, there is hope and light, and joy to be found in Christ alone.

I've been listening to Alistair Begg for over 15 years. My husband and I moved to Eastern Washington and we knew not a soul. I was very nervous and lost. I found TFL on the local radio.
We found a church finally but I felt I was closer to the Lord when I listened to the radio. 5 years ago we moved back to Seattle. What a culture shock!!! The home I left became a huge jungle of growth and ungodly. So Found TFL and it keeps me going and close to God. My husband even loves Sunday sermon streaming. Now He understands why I so dedicated to the Word. Pastor Begg speaks it in our language and teaches us what God is and is saying.

God has sent godly men into my life to teach me the ways of the Lord. Alistair is one of them. I admit that it was his accent that first drew me but as I listened it dawned on me that he preached the Word of God unapologetically and straight forwardly. I also pastor a church (a small church of on average 40 on a good Sunday). I have benefited greatly from Truth for Life and Alistair Begg. I’d love to sit down and have a cup of coffee with him.

I listen to Pastor Begg most mornings when I go for long walks. His sermons are clear and concise, providing the listener with ample references to support his message. The Truth for Life app allows for listening to past sermons by date or subject easily.

This ministry is one of the most trustworthy I have found. The ministry is considerate and ethical. I never receive a bulky brochure but instead only a single business size envelope and you can request no mailings at all if you like. The ministry is also fair about donations. They never accept a donation that they think you posted inadvertently. Instead they call to ask if you intended the donation. They also sell materials at their cost. They send materials to prisoners at no cost to the person ordering the materials. This day and age, I am concerned about the motivations of some web ministers but I have no concern about TruthForLife.

We live in far north west Scotland and hear Alistair Begg every night on the radio from 11.30 to midnight. We also receive his daily messages. But, we were at Parkside church when we were on holiday in the States, and it was simply amazing to hear Alistair preach. 2 sermons with over 2000 people attending each one, as the church holds 2000 people. The "icing on the cake was, when Alistair took the time to have a chat with us after the sermon. Wonderful man of God.

Truth For Life and the Bible teachings of Alistair Begg have been most instrumental in my desire to to walk with God and in my study of the Bible. My go to and most trusted Bible study resource.

I have been a radio listener for many years and we are pleased to be Truth Partners in support of this ministry. We are recent transplants to rural Alaska. My husband commutes 30 miles to work with our only vehicle. I leave the neighborhood once a week when we drive 45 miles into town for groceries and other necessities.
Truth for Life is a lifeline for me. The live Sunday morning broadcasts are a blessing. When I take my daily morning walk, I listen to two of Alistair's sermons on my cell phone through the TFL web site. Having a male voice accompany me tells the bear and moose in the vicinity that I am there, and I am not alone. Alistair's voice is my bear deterrent!

I read Truth for Life posts daily on Facebook, as well as listen every chance I can on my local Christian radio station. The ministry of Alistair Begg is instrumental in keeping me focused on God’s word and sharing those truths with my friends and family.

Truth For Life with Alastair Begg is indispensable for me. He communicates the Gospel and Bible precepts in a way that is convicting, convincing and transformative for those who listen. I highly recommend his program to any “sensible person” who would like to go deeper in their walk with God / relationship with Jesus.

I have been listening to Alistair Begg for a few months. He is great at using the Bible to address everyday issues. He knows The Bible well. I have never seen him use verses out of context. He is funny at times and his teaching is Holy Spirit inspired. His sermons often make me think in ways that challenge my comfort level as a Christian.

Been listening to TFL for a few years now, but never really considered becoming a truth partner until today. Today's (8/29/18) message on "The Chain of Salvation" was the best sermon I have heard regarding the mysteries of Salvation. Allistair spoke as if the thief on the cross was interview in Heaven and he was asked, "what makes you worthy of coming in?", and his response, "the man on the middle cross said I could". Simple, but powerful as Begg often is with his teaching. Thank you TFL for being honest and true to the Word in a day in which it would be easy no to.

I have followed Truth for Life for many years. I grew up in Ohio and while caring for an elderly parent back in Ohio, I was privileged to go to Alistair's church, even driving 60 miles round trip to do it. I now live in Wyoming and audio stream TFL messages daily. My husband and I crave solid chapter-by-chapter teaching and there are precious few churches in Wyoming that teach that way.

I've been listening to Alistair Begg for about a year and have found his teachings to be straight from God's Word. He always teaches directly from the Word and that's hard to find in this world today with all the fluff coming from so many. Truth is truth and if one waters it down it looses it's effect. My husband and I are celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary today. I can't recall how many of Alistair's messages we've listened to pertaining to marraiage, but I remember the seriousness and the reverence with which he treated the subject. I can say, without a doubt, that these messages have helped to strengthen our marriage. I can't say how many messages I've listened to on everything relevant to life on planet earth, but I can say that they have helped me along the way. Truth for Life with Alistair Begg is an amazing ministry. Pastor Begg is a solid bible expositor and a very interesting story teller. I am so thankful to God for providing Truth For Life! What an outreach! I do not need to move to Cleavland, OH for I can listen to Alistair Begg's preaching and teachings on the radio, online, and on the Truth For Life App.

Alistair's voice is easy to listen to. I enjoy his accent and how articulate his words are and how well he explains the Word of God.

Each time I listen, it grips me. By that I mean sometjing he says causes me to stop and think about how I'm living my life. Can I improve? Is there something I'm not doing right that I need to repent of?

The most recent sermon I watched through the App on my iPad. It was titled "Joy." It made me think how I haven't felt the deep Joy within me for a long time. The spontaneous, loving Joy of the LORD. And that's a good place to be because now I realize how I've missed it. That is an example of how "it grips me."

I want to say too that the title "Truth For Life" is a really good title. I don't know who was inspired to name it this, or how it came to be, but I hear the TRUTH, it Is for LIFE. Freeing, beautiful TRUTH bringing LIFE today and LIFE into Eternity.

We have been listening to Truth For Life since its into music sounded like bagpipes!! The music has changed but the clear and concise Bible teaching has not changed. Alistair has a Bible teaching ministry that is rare in these days of "easy believism." The church in America may be a mile wide but it is only an inch deep. Since most pulpits have become weak, my husband and I have depended on Alistairs' sermons/teaching for our spiritual enrichment thru DVDs and CDs even though we are active in our church. We have been Truth Partners for years and will continue but we are delighted that materials are free to any who will listen or read. People need to hear about Jesus. You can trust this Bible teaching from TFL. God bless this ministry.

Christian radio first came my way via satellite in the year 2006. After hearing a few sermons that seemed to speak into my life I had to get a Bible and see if what they were saying was really in there. This wonderful organization provides clear, relevant bible teaching to everyone free of charge. Alistair Begg is such a genuine and engaging teacher; you can really tell that he speaks from his heart. This is a resource that can truly help people's souls and improves their lives, if they are willing.

We have been listening to Pastor Alistair Begg for many years now.
I have been in church all my life, and i am 58 years old, so no newbie to the church scene.
With the evolution of the churches today into being more like the world in order to attract them, we came to a point of calling it quits with church(s).
I have to tell you it broke my heart-- as ALL our families on both sides , stopped going to churches years ago, because of "what is in the church".
I would be the one to constantly try to encourage them to get back into church- I'd tell them, keep trying to find a good one !
And then--- there we were!!!!, joining the ranks of "not going to church" because -we could no longer look the other way and stomach the MULTI crud going on at church.
Churches are now run more like a money making business and everything is acceptable, than a true body of believers. Hands down.

Alas, we started doing "church at home"
Being we live in the country and had low gigs for our computer, we would go up to McDonald's for the free wi fi and sit and listen to sermons, with one being- Truth for Life.
For several years we kept trying to find a church, to no avail.
Popping in here and there.
Only to have pastors affirming homosexuality from the pulpit, allowing in false teaches via book studies that are called bible studies, etc..etc...
And we could NOT tolerate it any longer.
All the years that we kept looking the other way, gritting our teeth and feeling sad at what we saw going on in the church we had been attending for years, finally came to a point of NO MORE and so here we were..

So after years of looking for a new church, we think we have finally found a small church to go to.
I shutter at the thought of ever trying to find a church home again as I know what we have gone through these last few years and in the 'bible belt" at that.
That in itself is a laugh.
Churches here are SO CONFORMED to the world, and the prosperity gospel, anything goes , it does makes me wonder often, what the Lord thinks of all of this? I already know the answer to that one.

With the political season going on and people debating how these non christians are acting, personally I don't have a big problem with it .
I EXPECT non christians, to act like non christians.
What I have a problem with is how Christians don't want to judge other christians and hold them accountable when THEY ARE amiss.
Judgement begins in the house of the Lord people, PERIOD.
Pastor Alistair is a breath of FRESH AIR of no compromise--- in a christian culture that is all about compromise and being just like the world.
Christians looking the other way-
Accepting things that the Word of God says is wrong-- in order to be politically correct. Whats with that anyway?
Aren't we not to be strangers in a strange land?
God help us in the church.

I'm beyond grateful for Alistair, and his ministry. All the material available is worthy of study. He is transparent as they come and he has a passion for telling it how it is, holds nothing back with such grace it's like having a true friend by your side, sharing about Jesus brilliantly!

Great, sound biblical teaching! Truth for Life with Alistair Begg is doing a wonderful job of handling God's word with accuracy and reverence. God has used Alistair and Truth for Life to teach me, convict me, and encourage and equip me in my faith. I highly recommend this ministry.

This ministry has so much integrity, that they called ME when I had made an addressing error on a book they were sending me! Instead of just letting it be, and leaving me to worry, they called until they reached me, and the error of mine was corrected, and tgey made sure my book was on the way. Rev. Alistair Begg is what you hear; he doesn't shirk away from the standards he proclaims in print; his teaching is like seeing a picture of consistency and integrity

I try not to miss this teaching. While Truth for Life reminds us that it is "listener supported", they made all their resources available to the listener at No Cost. I enjoy Alistair Begg's teaching because he clings to the truth of God. He also shows himself to be a man who thinks deeply and wrestles with challenging questions. He is a fine story teller and it helps that I am of a similar age and appreciate his cultural references. You will gain understanding of relationship to God through the Life of His Son! Worth the listen.

I have listened to and supported TFL for 20plus years. What a difference the teachings of Alistair Begg have made in my life. He preaches the WORD---the truth with all its warnings and not the "too happy" clean selections you sometimes hear on the TV. Sincerity, not grinning smiles....and you understand Begg's drive to teach us now. I have spread word of this ministry to my family, young and old, and each has found strength in his teachings. No frills, no fuss. No glitz. Just God's word and its infallible truths.I have used many CD's then DVD's with various groups at church, my brother listens to the Mp3 on the way to work, and my college age nephews listen over the internet. There is but one Way--that is through Jesus Christ. Period. This is what everyone needs to understand and Begg makes it very, very clear. What a blessing that I am able to be here at the same time on earth as Begg is and can benefit from his teaching me, yes me in the greatest things that matter in my life.

Truth for life has the solid bible teaching through a lot of useful resources

Truth that is seldom heard in many places today, but this is one place it can be heard! The truth does set us free. Alistair Begg points us to those eternal Truths of Gods Word. The ills of this world, and lies of the true evil are revealed by his sermons. If we could all remember that "we do not war against flesh and blood", how our own hearts can change. When we are exposed to the light and the Holy Spirit reveals the truth of Jesus Christ in our hearts we discover something new. We are transformed by the renewing of our minds. We realize that our fight is not with other humans, but in the spiritual realm. And it is with spiritual weapons and prayer only that we will overcome.
I can say that this is a very important nonprofit organization that should be at the top of the list by encoraging us to be a world of "men of good will".

I'm impressed with the honesty of Begg's teaching; he recognizes the hard to understand passages and treats them wisely. He gives truth but with love and grace. I appreciate the various ways the ministry reaches others with podcasting, email daily devotions, hardcopy, etc. TFL is a great ministry.

I love listening to Alistair Begg as he brings God's word home to me, making it meaningful in my life. His style of preaching and his teaching examples touch me because he uses the culture I grew up in, in songs, books, tv, movies, to make it so relatable to me personally. Pastor Begg's radio broadcast filled my car as I drove young children to school decades ago. Now I view the videos and pull up sermons on my computer and receive his daily devotionals. My children recall his brogue and his strength of message. After all these years his sermons stand the test of time; he has not wavered in his explanation of the Word. In a crumbling world with nothing honoring our Lord, we need a preacher who will not fail to bring us back to the truth, Biblical truth. I thank Pastor Begg for his steadfast service and our Lord for his patience.

It is hard to run a nonprofit and balance the need to raise funds for the organization with the ministry you have set out to do. The few contacts I have had for fundraising with Truth for Life have been low key and ethical and not at all like some of the "fleecing the flock" appeals that I have seen with other less reputable ministries. The teaching is rock solid, the ministry is ethically run and certainly reflects well on the Savior that Mr. Begg preaches. I recommend this ministry highly.

I believe the lord led me to Alistair Begg's Ministry. I was really searching to understand scripture more to BE SAVED, live the christian life and become a good servant of the Lord. My family has awakened their spiritual walk with Begg's radio ministry and are developing a christian purpose and worldview. The Lord is doing wonderful things through this man, wonderful things. His sermons are clear, always scriptural, applicable and he speaks so frank and yet he sooths and awakens you with his expository preaching.... I've been listening to sermons online for years, and out of all of the pastors I've ever heard, nobody speaks the true gospel about the power Jesus and his blood that saves us, like Alistair Begg. I love that Truth For Life offers so much of their learning material either for free or at cost, with no intentions of making a profit off of anything. The teachings of Alistair Begg and Truth For Life help bring clarity and understanding of the bible to so many of us who are lost and need good biblical instruction. I feel there is a great deal of transparency as to what my financial contributions go towards and I appreciate that. Lastly, I commend the Truth For Life ministry for encouraging Christ followers to tithe to their local church first, then consider contributing to their ministry as "above and beyond" their normal tithes. I've slowly learned what it means to be a steward of the financial gifts that have been given to me, and one of the ways I've learned is thru this ministry.

I never heard about Truth for Life or Alistair Begg ujntil a month ago. We bought a new alarm radio for our bedroom, and decided to let the radio wake us up. The only station we could get was one where Alistair was on at 5 AM, when our alarm goes off. Wow! I have never heard anyone teach like him. He is so solid biblically, so interesting, giving so much practical truth from God's Word, I am just devouring the teaching. I listen to him every morning, and he also has a ROKU Channel where I watch his teaching. I highly recommend this ministry. My favorite preacher in all the world. That really says it all but then the app here asked for at least 50 characters. Well as my work requires me to work on Sundays I depend on the internet and radio a great deal for my ministry and honestly this man is such a blessing. Yes there are many others such as Ligonier and Ravi Zacharias but I listen to Alistair daily. Maybe it's that accent or his delivery or the work he puts into the practical useful messages but they never fail to hit the mark for me. I love the man and the work.

Goodness me, where to start!
I often listen to Alistair Begg when carrying out mundane tasks like cleaning, ironing, driving a distance. It's wonderful! The mundane task gets done whilst I am being fed great truths from Gods word! (You should try it!). Alistair's teaching scratches where it itches! He preaches with great clarity, there is not a word wasted. Peppered with excellent and helpful illustrations, he points me to Christ, the only hope for this sin sick world.
Please use truth for life, listen till your ears fall off, it will do your soul good - much good, but DON'T use it as a replacement for church! The gathering together of the Lords people is essential wherever possible, your local church needs you, and you need them.

I've been listening to Truth for Life close to one year now and I can say my life has been truly changed through the teachings of Alistair Begg. I will honestly say that I haven't found a better Bible teacher to date that brings out the truth of God's word like he does through his teaching and ministry. Truth for life with Alistair Begg has been a great blessing to me and my family. I started stumbling my way to Christ about eight years ago. I tried several times reading the new testament but failed somewhere in the epistles. I was turned to Truth for Life's mobile app and was steadily brought to the Cross. I heard the radio broadcast about ten years ago while driving out of town. I'll have to admit that his Scottish accent made me pause to listen. As he said, "Every Scottish/American he encounters tells him their family had a castle in Scottland." Mine just had a tower! But Truth For Life has a much greater appeal to me than an accent. Alistair Begg has an insight from the Bible that isn't his own. When he expounds on the scriptures it is evident that God's Holy Spirit has annointed his teachings. That is what made me search for his broadcast in my home town. I desperately desired to hear from God, and did. When the smartphone app became available it made it possible for me to listen to his sermons on a daily basis for my ride in to work. Hearing God's word with a relevant message changes my ability to have a concern for those around me with God's loving compassion. These programs help me take my mind off of my chaotic life, and back on to the real goal of bringing Life to others thru teaching them the love story Jesus wrote for them by His death, and ressurrection on their behalf... TRUTH FOR LIFE really is learning for LIVING!

I normally don't listen to podcast preachers as they seem to be more concerned about popularity and the latest and greatest in cultural trends. Alistair Begg, however, is concerned first and foremost with pleasing God and obediently teaching His word as accurately as one can without reservation. Begg's teaching focuses on the needs of the flock and not on building up his own ego. I wish more teachers would let go of their own personal agendas and simply teach what God's word says.

I have listened to other bible teachers on the internet, but always return to Alistair Begg. His genuine approach and understanding of the true nature of the bible's message continues to help me understand who I need to be as an adult Christian. I always come away feeling challenged, yet closer to understanding the LORD's will. I always look forward to his next sermon.

I started listening to truth for life about 3 years ago, and the teachings of Alister Begg are so personal and applicable to daily life that I can't get enough. I listen to sermon archives whenever I have free time and I am never disappointed. His methodical exposition of scripture is true teaching from God's Word. The call to be a pastor on my own life has been deepened and strengthened by the sound teaching I hear on Truth For Life. It's so comprehensive on any and every aspect of life that the fundamental and evangelical alike can find wisdom and growth within the pages of scripture. I love what God is doing to me through this radio and online program.

I have learned more about the Bible in the years I have listened to Truth for Life than I ever learned from my formal training. This is a ministry that takes the Bible seriously in all its parts and teachings. They make their messages and articles accessible in every way, which allows me to listen to both old and new messages almost anywhere. The ministry helps me to focus on what the Bible says much more consistently than I might other wise because I can take it with me. So I listen when I am in my car or at home and almost anywhere else on my phone. Seriously Biblical.

I began listening to Alistair about 15 years ago, and quickly became a Truth Partner. My wife and I have supported this ministry nonstop since joining. It is abundantly clear to us that God has anointed Alistair with an incredible gift to articulate the Word. Pastor Begg, is truly a man after Gods heart. I'm a pastor myself and I listen to Truth For Life as part of my morning routine. I have listened to Alistair Begg on the radio for years. I attended a church in NC regularly and served but always found myself listening to Pastor Begg. His sound teaching helped me grow as a new believer. Through the years as I experienced life's rough spots, even to the point of leaving the church I attended for over 25 yrs I turned to Alistair's sermons for guidance and help. His sound teaching helped me through a season of deep depression. The proof of his ministry to me was when I needed help for my child who lived in OH. I called and the church secretary sent help to her. I travelled from NC to OH attended Parkside Church several times and always felt welcome. I sought help while dealing with a crisis situation while I was in OH. They helped me and ministered to me. I love this ministry. Pastor Begg teaches and the church does what Christ has called us to do. Gods grace in action!!

I have enjoyed in partaking in this ministry. Each day I listen to Truth for Life as part of my Bible study. Usually I read and listen to Allister Begg for I have found this ministry to have one the best foundational bible studies. I feel blessed that this ministry is available not only for me but too so many. I am blessed to be able to be a Truth partner and I reflect on the letters from the desk of Allister Begg. I love listing to Mr Begg. He teaches the Bible without pulling any punches and never apologizes for his candor. This ministry has helped me greatly in growing my walk with Christ.

Our family has been sustained through the clear teaching of the Word of God, by Allistair Begg. He is indeed a herald....taking the message of the King, and pronouncing it to His subjects. We have been through many dangers, toils and snares in the past years with unemployment, car accidents with bodily injuries and permanent sufferings, family break ups, and shunning from our church. What a blessed relief to know we have a Brother in The Lord who so faithfully and diligently gives his all to his call. God's Word is our spiritual food for living this life, keeping us strong enough to continue to love and serve where we can, uplifting our broken hearts, and something we cling to often. We can't thank Allistair enough, but we hope that we are also serving with the same energy and diligence. It is wonderful to know that if we don't have the opportunity to meet this side of heaven, we will together cast our crowns before our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

I believe Alistair Begg has truly been called by God to lead people into the truth and I have used truth for life to build me up in my faith, my belief and my trust in my relationship with the Lord and if it wasn't for truth for life- I would not be getting fed. Truth for Life Ministries with Alistair Begg has truly been a blessing in my life and continues to be. I throughly enjoy listening to him preach directly from the Word of God and the keen insights he brings forth. For several years now, I have had more "ah-ha!", inspiring moments than I can count, listening on the radio to the expository preaching of Alistair Begg. The dots connect when you hear the Word spoken and unpacked appropriately. He articulates clearly and simply big issues and themes.
