Mission: The oba education foundation's overall mission is education. The foundation seeks to explore and enhance educational opportunities for individuals in areas of banking, public and private finance, financial literacy, business, financial planning and other related subjects.
Programs: The oba education foundation is committed to enhancing financial literacy in oregon and to developing future generations of oregon bankers. Contributions to the oba education foundation have helped support the following current initiatives: scholarships for oregon high school students to attend young entrepreneurs business week. Partnerships with oregon universities (oregon state university and university of oregon) to support commercial banking education and career development. Grants to and engagement in financial education programs (financial beginnings, everfi, jump$tart, junior achievement finance park). Promotion of financial education initiatives like financial literacy month, get smart about credit day and teach children to save day.
