Causes: Animals, Environment, Environmental Beautification, Protection of Endangered Species
Mission: To support greening efforts, public gardens, tree planting/care, park maintenance and beautification, vegetation management to reduce fire risks, mentoring of at-risk youth and involvement of volunteers in Oakland.
Results: The Oakland Landscape Committee landscapes and maintains the Firestorm Memorial Garden, Gateway Garden park site, North Oakland Sports Field entry garden and open space area, and the Broadway Pollinator Garden.
