Programs: Residential services- heritage centers individual residential alternatives (iras) offer individuals with developmental disabilities a greater sense of freedom and independence, while providing them with a clean and safe living environment. Iras offer a full range of individualized and quality services including: nursing, behavior supports and nutritional counseling, as well as recreation, social supports and inclusion opportunities.

allentown industries- the vocational and day services division of hertage centers: the emphasis is on productivity and preparing adults for their rightful place in the workforce. Supported employment program assists individuals(students in transition and adults) with disabilities in locating, securing and retaining jobs within the community. With the goal of independence and personal growth,supported employment encourages self-sufficiency in the workplace. Services offered include;job development, job coaching, vocational case management, supervised worksites and transition servicesvocational/day services-programming that is individualized and promotes independence and productivity, vocational/day programs accomodate and coordinate each individuals's needs and desires. Vocational/day services include but are not limited to:work activities, day habilitation , supervised on-site work, clinical services (occupational, physical and/or speech therapy), work adjustment training and vocational evaluations.

heritage education program-services are offered throughout western new york for children age birth to age 21. Programs include the following:early intervention (ages birth to 3 years old)-heritage education program works with early intervention officials to assess the needs of infants and toddlers who are developmentally disabled. Services can be provided in the child's home, in community childcare centers or in center-based classes. A wide range of services may include: evaluations, special education, occupational therapy, physical therapy, speech therapy, service coordination, parent groups, infant massage, assistive technology, feeding and swallowing evaluations, program development and monitoring, school nursing and developmental groups for toddlers. Preschool (ages 3-5 years old)-working closely with individual school districts and the committee on preschool special education (cpse), services for individual childrenare determined. Classrooms are located within early childhood settings throughout the community. Preschool services may include: evaluations, special education, occupational therapy, physical therapy, speech therapy, adaptive physical education, behavior management plans, art therapy, counseling, parent training, feeding and swallowing evaluations, program development and monitoring, school nursing, social work and collaborations with community organizations. School age (ages 5-21 years old)-the school age component of the heritage education program serves children between the ages of 5 and 21 with developmental disabilities. School age program services may include: special education, occupational therapy, physical therapy, speech/language therapy, adaptive physical education, behavior management plans, art therapy, counseling, parent training, feeding and swallowing evaluations, program development and monitoring, social work, school nursing, school-to-work programming, prevocational training, and collaborations with community organizations.
