Mission: The organization's mission is to assist individuals to discover their own personal achievement through habilitation. The development of all services is based upon the talents, dreams, wishes and desires of the people we serve. We envision a future where all people with disabilities are active community participants, and are accepted in all aspects of community life. Each person's quality of life will be enriched through their engagement in meaningful activities and the formation of relationships. The people we service and their families living in clinton county will be the center of service, planning, and delivery.
Programs: Individual residential alternatives - provides room and board in a community based group living arrangement with protective oversight to its residents. There were approximately 47,000 units provided in 2017.
employment services - employment services consists of workforce network (supported employment and pathway to employment), family education and training, individualized support services and family reimbursement program. Employoment services facilitates competitive work in integrated work settings for individuals with disabilities for whom competitive employment has not traditionally occurred, and who need ongoing support services in order to perform or maintain their job. Workforce network provides assistance such as job, coaching, assisitive technology, specialized job training, and individually tailored support.
day habilitation - provides habilitation services to developmentally disabled individuals. Services help individuals achieve satisfying and rewarding connections and relationships within their community through volunteer oppurtunities. Services also assist individuals to develop skills to allow them to be more independent in their life. There were approximately 30,000 units of service provided in 2017.
