Causes: International, International Development
Mission: We unite together as friends, family and kindred spirits to stand in solidarity with the community of Alenga, Uganda. We give funding and direct support to provide opportunity for better lives through education, water security, health care, and agricultural innovation.
Results: We are very close to drilling Well #5, and have begun fundraising for #6. We are sponsoring 22 girls in primary/secondary school and 5 in tailoring school. Orphans and their guardians are getting some of their needs met through the sale of fish sold from the Fish Pond (a result of Note Karacel connections and fundraiing). And a small microfinance of handbag production has begun supporting the tailoring school training efforts. Our website will tell you still more.
