Stumbling across this little rescue back in 2017, I had no idea it would change the trajectory of my life. Starting out helping with photography which morphed into social media and website management which then turned into helping with adoptions and then intakes. I was voted in as Director of Nose 2 Tail Cat Rescue in 2023! I am so proud of this amazing non-profit and all of the lives we have touched both feline and human alike. I love every volunteer, adopter, foster, and cat that comes through our doors. We have built a great community! ♥️
What an amazing organization! The volunteers are angels on earth and the work they do to save such precious lives is inspiring!
I have been volunteering for N2T for about 18 months now, and I have never been involved with a more caring community. I'm amazed at the efforts, patience and love that everyone provides. It's really gratifying to see these cats grow into their own personalities once their stressors are removed!
Below is a photo of Sushi, one of our current residents. When she first came, she wanted nothing to do with me (I'm a guy), and would hide as soon as she heard my voice. After a few months, if I was in her room playing/petting with her roomie Bash, she'd peek out and check me out.
Now, as soon as I come in the room, she's out, giving me "head hugs" and pretty much demanding to be petted.
If you are looking to adopt, donate or volunteer, you cannot go wrong with N2T.
We first learned of Nose 2 Tail and adopted Marty (pictured left) from in 2018. Since then, we have become passionate supporters of this amazing, volunteer-run organization. To see the dedication, love, and energy they put in to every case - especially the difficult ones (elderly, feral, and/or sick cats that other organizations wouldn't help) - is truly inspiring. In early 2024, we were stopping by N2T to drop off some food donations to their neighborhood pantry when we stopped in to say "hi." We had no plans to add a 3rd cat to our home, but we instantly fell in love with Gregg and knew we had to adopt him. Since then, Marty and Gregg have become best buds! We love N2T for giving us our best friends and helping so many cats in our area!
I started out as an adopter and then decided to also start fostering. N2T has so many passionate volunteers that are dedicated to making sure the cats have a stimulating, healthy, and clean environment to stay in until their forever home is found. I also find their foster program to be very easy to be a newbie in. They provide all the food and resources to make sure the kittens grow up to their fullest potential. And now a few years (and about 20 fosters) later, I am proud to be one of a few fosters who can take on bottle babies and medically challenging cases.
This rescue has changed my life forever.
I have worked as a volunteer with Nose 2 Tail since it's very beginning. Through many changes, this rescue has consistently helped hundreds of cats to live better lives. Each and every kitty who passes through their doors is treated as the most important kitty in the world and given whatever care they are required without hesitation. Volunteers are treated with the utmost respect and in turn give every bit of themselves back to the rescue. Kudos to Nose 2 Tail for always being there for our community cats.
Nose2tail provides the absolute best care and environment for their cats. It is clear how loved each cat that goes through Nose2tail is. Beyond the care the cars receive, which is top notch, Nose2tail is and active part of their community. Nose2tail is always willing and ready to provide education and tips to owners to make adoption easier for graduates, or to help keep a beloved pet with their family.
I am proud and honored to be a volunteer, foster, and eventually adopter from Nose2tail. I have worked with other rescues in the past but Nose2tail tops the others with the care and attention provided to the animals and volunteers.
Nose 2 Tail Cat Rescue deserves more praise than I could ever give! They go further than above and beyond to help cats who would have been in horrible/less than ideal situations and give them a fighting chance. They cater to every single cat with the same attention and energy and provide more love than you would think possible. They also put on events at the shelter (I’ve been to a couple so far) and they make sure guests are comfortable and informed and have a good time. Sandy and all of her volunteers do tremendous work and I can’t say enough about them all!
