Causes: Education, Secondary & High Schools
Mission: To support the norwin high school band's participation in state & national competitions that focus on music, visual presentation & overall general effect. To raise capital through various activities & fundraisers for the benefit of the norwin senior high school band and colorguard. The norwin school district does not provide funding fo any of the band and colorguard functions. Each school year the band participates in judged competitions against other high school bands from the tristate area. These events provide nationally recognized clinicians that hold training seminars with the band and colorguard students. The monies raised are specifically earmarked to provide transportation, lodging, food, and other expenses, e. G. Medical supplies, for the students that participate in the competitions and to provide maintenance on old equipment and the purchase of new equipment and special props.
Programs: To support & distribute moneys, as required, for the activites of the band that are not funded by the norwin school district.
