Causes: Women, Womens Service Clubs
Mission: To foster interest and participation helping to meet the philanthropic needs of our community and to stimulate the intellectual, cultural and social development of its members.
Programs: 289 members met philanthropic needs of the greater dallas and collin counties with an emphasis on helping women and children. Approximately 17,534 club and volunteer hours were given during the year toward this end, assisting organizations such as baylor scott & white - plano, children's medical center - plano community partners of dallas, dallas arboretum, dallas casa, dallas museum of art docent program, emily's place, frisco family services, genesis women's shelter, george w bush presidential library and museum, grant halliburton foundation, heritage manor nursing home, interfaith family services, network of community ministries, new friends new life, north dallas shared ministries, our friends place, and texas scottish rite hospital. Volunteers also ran a "sack hunger" drive donating 5,000 pounds of food as well as a collection over 225 toys and gift cards in partnership with frisco family services and community partners of dallas.
