Causes: Environment, Environmental Beautification
Mission: To develop and maintain for public use, the abandoned wabash cannonball railroad, for hiking, biking and recreational use at no cost to users.
Programs: Program accomplishments include 1) ongoing maintenance of 31 miles of trail corridor, such as mowing, weed control, litter control and brush clearing. 2)installation of 3 new benches along the trail. 3) partial installation of 5 trail head kiosks with new map design. 4) spread 217 truckloads of recycled asphalt paving (rap) to improve the trail surface in williams county. The trail is available to everyone and serves thousands of people each year.
