Mission: The organization is committed to building on the strengths of all families and children residing in northwest hennepin county, so that they have access to resources to assist them in reaching their full potential.
Programs: Northwest resources for families supports initiatives in the areas of health services, with a goal of eliminating health disparities: medical, dental and mental health; basic needs and social services; literacy and family literacy; a broad range of family support services; basic needs, resource and referral and child and family-centered programs. Services are focused on primary prevention and early intervention programs for families with children including: - child development, physical, social and emotional development, school readiness and student academic achievement - reducing health disparities, mental health wellness, medical, dental, immunizations, pre/post natal support. - family support through advocacy, home visiting, resource and referral. Family stability, parenting education including child development and parent support - family literacy, school readiness, literacy enrichment for english language learners
