Mission: Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate & release of injured wildlife and to educate the public with programs using live birds of prey. One of our goals is to provide outreach to individuals and organizations to help them to appreciate wildlife in order to conserve it.
As a volunteer and board member of the Center, I can tell you first hand that when you give to the Northwest Raptor & Wildlife Center, 100% of the donation goes directly to the wildlife. Every person working at the Center (our vets included) is a volunteer. Even our Director, Jaye Moore, does not receive a salary or stipend -- in fact, she and her family spend thousands of dollars a year to keep the Center running. No one has a bigger heart than Jaye, and the proof of that is seen as she releases a healed eagle or owl back into the wild. At the Center we always say "It's all about the critters", and we live that every day.
