Programs: In compliance with its purpose of providing capital and programmatic resources to goodwill industries of northwest north carolina, inc. , the foundation provided cash grants in 2016 of $2,550,000. The grants were used to fund career connection centers, a community resource which assists individuals in finding employment. Grant monies were also used to fund project re-entry, a program designed to assist individuals recently released from prison to re-enter the job market.
