Programs: Rural fire protection program: support & assist the state organization awarding grants to rural fire departments for equipment and aiding in the transport of water in rural areas.
promote woody residue utilization technology through education and supplying the area with stoves, grills and pellets
partnership with other entities in conducting habitat maintenance and restoration, disturbed land restoration, long-term monitoring, exotic species control, resource surveys, research and other studies pertaining to the natural resources of the buffalo national river
partnership with other organizations to reduce electrical energy consumption of broiler houses by replacing incandescent bulb with high-efficiency, low-energy lighting technology. Partnership with the harrison skate park committee to build a plaza style skate park. A plaza style park is an attractive multiuse park that will greatly enhance the harrison downtown area, stimulate economic growth as well as give a great bunch of young people a park they can be proud of.
