Wonderful school with amazing and loving teachers, on a beautiful, green campus. It was powerful and formative for me. Thank you Northstar!

I graduated from this school. It was the worst school I’ve ever been to. They make a big deal out of everything and there is so much unnecessary drama and the staff are un cooperative with the students. Most of the good reviews are from staff and board members who I recognize. They kind of have to make a good review or they’ll get fired. This is an Islamic school yet the kids make fun of you for reading Quran out of your own will. There are much better Islamic schools than this one.

Horrible. Unqualified staff members, clear favoritism, racism from students AND staff, toxic people, and so much more. As a former student I’m so glad a left this “school.” They always repeat topics that you’ve learned since 2nd grade and you barely learn anything. If you’re a parent and have considered sending your child here, do yourself a favor and don’t.

We love Northstar School for their innovative ideas, dedicated staff and teachers, caring community, and wonderful students.

Northstar School has helped my children immensely achieve their goals as they grow into young men. The staff is easy to work with and helps our family whenever needed. My children look forward to going to school every morning.

I have been a substitute teacher for 2 years at Northstar. Being there on a need basis, Northstar offered me a year long position as a teacher. I was able to witness first hand their dedication getting to know each student by being engaged in their academic and social life. This is shown by prospective parents going through an interview process, deeper than that, they provide licenced therapists with workshops for the Middle School monthly and give ongoing parent workshops with these therapists.
I have found a home at this school, without having children myself Northstar has given me a heartfelt welcome and appreciation being a substitute teacher. I am so invested in the schools future and success that I am an active member in their PTO and volunteer for community events.

This is an incredible organization that works at building not only a school but a community. It teaches it childrens to be responsible human beings that are not only concerned about their grades, but also about taking care of the earth and the outside community.
