Mission: Nvms helps people to make effective decisions and create positive outcomes through a range of services including facilitation, mediation, restorative practices, training and coaching tailored to the needs of those involved. Nvms works with individuals, groups, organizations and agencies to provide accessible, meaningful support in addressing and moving beyond interpersonal and organizational challenges.
Programs: The organization provides basic and advanced workshops in conflict management skills including facilitation, mediation, negotiation, communication, and problem solving.
the organization provides voluntary dispute resolution services in the form of professional, neutral mediation and facilitation, helping community members to resolve their disputes through effective, collaborative processes that reduce the time and cost required to handle conflicts.
restorative justice: the organization provides restorative justice (rj) conferences and circles for youth in public schools and those referred by juvenile courts and police. The facilitated dialogues address accountability and repair harm around a range of issues including bullying, fights, discipline, theft and property damage. The organization invites victims to participate on a voluntary basis. Services are provided in close collaboration with school administrators, staff, parents and appropriate court and police representatives.
