05/10/2022Good afternoon everyone, my name is Davon Hopkins of Annandale, VA . I would like to first say I'm still currently patently waiting for a response to many topics I feel need addressed. First topic on my list are hate crimes and improper facial surveillance in Northern Virginia. I say Northern Virginia is because I was able to pinpoint the cameras that put everyone's human rights at risk. Secondly the racial and minority tracking , casing, or monitoring what every you like to call it . It's a direct violation as US citizens, and I'm here to make sure all matters get addressed and handled the correct way. I will also answer your questions of why and how am I so confident in what I say, that's because its happening to me as we speak .

I can be reached at - Davon.Hopkins@snhu.edu or direct contact 571-331-5470

When calling please respond by addressing your name & position within this great non profit, how you can help or relate with what I'm currently facing in America. Thank you and God bless everyone

It happens that self-paid pregnant women are encouraged to terminate their pregnancies while waiting for a "better time". Tepeyac Center is a Blessing for those in need ; its doctors and staff are professional and very supportive, even they work for less than what they should receive. May God bless all of you.

As a director of a non-profit for children with special needs and their families, and as the parent of three special needs children myself, I can attest to Divine Mercy Care's outstanding work in supporting families through the heartaches and real challenges of expecting, and raising, critically and chronically sick children. Divine Mercy Care staff go above and beyond the call of duty in providing outstanding medical care to the tiniest and most fragile of babies, as well as providing much needed medical and emotional support to their parents. A truly wonderful non-profit.

DMC is a truly unique health care facility, which has at its foundation, solid Christian principals in every aspect of patient care. I have worked in health care for almost 35 years, and never experienced such truly Catholic/Christian health care, even in the Catholic hospitals I've observed. Every patient and every procedure is treated with the same utmost care to promote healing and recovery. This remarkable health care facility should be held up as a model for all health care institutions.

I assumed the role of executive director of a local cpc last June. At that time, and prior to that while serving as a volunteer, I understood that Devine Mercy Care (aka Tepeyak)provided excellent care for our clients who were abortion vulnerable and/or needing fancial assistance. The Board of the Center, along with the Executive Director approved the support for medical care many times for needy clients, always with positive results.

These physicians and their staff are absolutely fabulous. Many of my friends travel an hour or more for ob/gyn care at Tepeyac. They care for the person and her health as well as that of her family. they trouble-shoot rather than write quick scripts to shoo away clients and move on to the next person. The Christlike atmosphere is palpable, including what one can discern from the highly informative web site. Thank you, Tepeyac Family!

Three years ago when my husband and I decided to start our family I turned to my church for a recommendation for a doctor who would respect and embrace my beliefs. The previous couple of doctors I used for routine care had been very disrespectful and insulting whenever we disagreed and they felt my faith was getting in the way of their care. Now that I wanted to have a child, I knew that I needed to raise my standard find something better. I found out about Tepeyac through my church and immediately felt like my prayers had been answered from the moment I visited their website and saw the image of Our Lady smiling back at me. Two beautiful boys later, and can't say enough good things about them and recommend then to everyone I can. It is so comforting to know that these doctor are looking out for me both physically and spiritually.

This organization has provided critical, life-saving services to the community. DMC and the Tepeyac Center (named after the mount where the Blessed Virgin Mary appeared to St. Juan Diego) have provided peri-natal care free of charge to poor women. They have also been instrumental in helping to convince women in difficult (read: unintended) pregnancies to avoid the horrible tragedy of killing their unborn children. DMC Pharmacy was a welcome and needed alternative to the commercial pharmacies that dispense without thought the death-dealing abortifacients we cynically refer to as "birth control pills." DMC Pharmacy would have none of it, and it is a terrible loss to - and indictment of - the community that it wasn't able to compete against faceless, heartless, ruthless mass-marketed chain pharmacies. I guess all those Catholics out there couldn't be bothered to drive around the corner for their prescriptions, or perhaps, all those Catholics wanted birth control pills. As it is, it is now s impossible for faithful Catholics to receive prescription medications from a firm that doesn't support the genocidal culture of death regnant in this country today. May God bless the doctors, staff, administrators and supporters of Divine Mercy Care. These people by their example demonstrate true "caritas," charity, love.

Divine Mercy care has been my OBG/YN provider for the last two years. When I first went to see them, I was three months along on my third pregnancy and I was new to the state, so I was a little nervous. They provided me with quality care and have never made me feel like my concerns were minor or unimportant. They are wonderful at making me feel like a person (not just another pregnant woman) and have treated me with great care and dignity. It is also wonderful to know that when I step through that door, I am supporting other women who come to Divine Mercy care with no resources but are treated with the same dignity and care with which Divine Mercy Care treats me and all their other patients.

Over the years, I have called Divine Mercy Care to request urgent second opinions for pregnant women in distress. From the moment we call, the receptionist is thoughtful and helpful, a second opinion and/ or sonogram is arranged very quickly, and the staff treats the woman with the utmost compassion and loving concern. Divine Mercy Care brought light and love and hope into the lives of at least five of our special moms in challenging pregnancies, and their babies.

It is the start of a new movement where today's society's conventions are thrown aside and a new, 'green' outlook of the unique physical, spiritual and emotional needs of the woman are nourished and treated.

I am getting ready to deliver my 3rd child through Tepeyac and am so grateful to them for the great experiences I've had with both births. Every patient matters to them - and you feel it. Every child matters - and they let you know that. The nurses are compassionate, the staff is upbeat and kind, the atmosphere is supportive, the doctors are unmatched in skill and with their personal sacrifice and drive to bring deep meaning to their work. This practice has been built on love for all human-life no matter the consequences and they will do anything to make sure you are given the best care and your child is brought into the world having been prayed for all through its gestational life. This practice is simply amazzzing. The doctors are just saints. You really matter here at Tepeyac and it's just a blessing to be a patient with them.

There is nothing that can bring a Mother, while in labor, more peace of mind than knowing that the delivering physician not only has the physical life of the Mother and child in mind but also their very souls. The prayerful support of Tepeyac Family Center is one that is without parallel. All of my children have been delivered while in their care. Prayers have been offered on my behalf on numerous occasions during my pregnancies, encouragement and prayers were offered when I experienced a loss of a baby. The office staff also needs some praise as they are so supportive and integral to the whole experience from the most routine of tasks- filling prescriptions to helping me with problems while I am expecting a child to be born. They are committed to the well being of all of their patients. Many doctors would have put me on the pill when my hormones were thrown off as a 12 year old, but not the doctors at Divine Mercy Care. They didn't want to mask the problem they wanted to find the source of the problem, which ended up being a brain tumor. Thank God for Tepeyac!

I couldn't believe my ears when someone told me about this pro-life doctor's office that was within 3 miles of my home! As a newly-converted Catholic, I felt it was further affirmation of my new-found faith in the Church. I love the role that Tepeyac plays for people like me...I have insurance but benefit from being surrounded by strong, Catholic doctors in a contraceptive-free place...but I also love what it does for other, less privileged people, providing free healthcare to those who need it. We need more places like Tepeyac to fight "the machine" of Planned Parenthood with the Truth and with genuine love, care & concern for mother and baby. 3 of my 5 (#6 is on the way) children have been delivered by Tepeyac physicians. My 4th pregnancy in 2001 was a partial molar pregnancy and Dr. Bruchalski took amazing care of me when I actually began to miscarry, late at night, directly admitting me to the hospital to bypass the ER, praying over me before the "d'n c" that was necessary. I learned later that he had been up for quite some time and had delivered a friend's baby earlier that day. This is only one example of how the Drs. go beyond the call and I cannot imagine placing my life or that of my child's in anyone else's loving and competent hands. I have been a patient at Tepeyac Family Center for the past 3 years- have been cared for two pregnancies with them- one being a miscarriage. They have been nothing short of amazing to me.. the doctors there truly treat you and your unborn child with compassion and dignity. I liked that I was not 'another number' on their patient's list. My baby and I received the best care possible. The doctors really stop to listen to your concerns and then give you their medical opinions and you can make your decisions with them rather than coercing you into a decision you are not comfortable with as I've had the misfortune of experiencing with another OB of another practice. They have allowed me to be proactive about my health. My birthing experience was also such a wonderful experience thanks to the doctors and kind staff of tepeyac. If you are on the fence about whether or not to visit them- I highly recommend them- whats to lose? You will come out of there knowing that you have found a true gem of a practice- there is not another like it in Virginia.

From the start, the doctors and staff at Divine Mercy Care/Tepeyac showed sincere interest in me as a person and the health and well-being of my children. I was not just another "patient" in their office. They got to know my name and even offered to pray with me for my baby. I trust them and even more than that, am amazed at what they've done for so many women. I've met women and heard first-hand accounts of the life-changing difference they've made--- especially women that faced disheartening circumstances such as an adverse pre-natal diagnosis or crisis pregnancy. Through their personal touch, their commitment to excellent medicine, and their deep spirituality, they've been able to walk hand-in-hand with these women providing first-rate care. Tepeyac is most definitely one-of-a-kind and I feel very blessed to have had recourse to them for all three of my last pregnancies/deliveries.

To have them serve any and all women despite financial situation & to serve these women (and families) with respect and as Christians is truly a blessing. Tell your story here and help others understand this charity My husband and I have one beautiful son but after his birth, we were not able to get pregnant again. We went to Dr. B at Tepeyac because my mother had seen a write of him and his incredible center in her Catholic newspaper. After several years of traditional fertility treatments where we were treated like another cash source rather than patients, it was a breath of fresh air to go to Tepeyac. Dr. B was so warm and "human" with us. He tried different approaches to seeing what was going on with us. While we haven't had another child (and are, in fact, pursuing adoption), his kind, humane treatment and outstanding service have made all the difference in our pursuit of a child. He is kind and understanding and he listened to us. Whatever our outcome will be, we are thoroughly satisfied that we were given the best care possible in our situation.

In 1991 our fifth child was born. When my wife went to see her ob/gyn after the birth, he looked at her and said: "Don't you think you've had enough children? Let me do something for you." My wife thanked him, left his office and never went back. A couple years later, she found Dr. John Bruchalski. This good man understood my wife's desire to do nothing to impede the natural process of child bearing. For the next sixteen years, he has been there for her ... and the two children we were blessed with (one in 1997 and the other in 2005). Dr. Bruchalski provides women with a medical environment where they are welcomed as persons and given the respect they deserve. And through Divine Mercy Care, Dr. Bruchalski extends this loving environment to all who come to him; whether they can pay for his services or not. From a the perspective of a husband and father, I never had to second guess the motives or quality of care my wife would receive by the staff at Tepeyak. Only on a few occasions were her doctor's appointments delayed unexpectedly - we learned to call ahead, as we do with our other doctor's to see if they were running on schedule. All of my wife's doctor's were patient and reassuring and addressed every concern and question we had head on. I was most impressed during the actual delivery and the peace of mind our doctors gave both of us that my wife and our newborn babies would be taken care of, safe, and attended to. The doctors did not look at us funny when we said we practiced Natural Family Planning, and did not shy away from discussing spirtual aspects of childbirth (e.g. my wife asked the doctor's opinion on fasting while pregnant durin Lent; we could be at ease discussing our thoughts about God's will). In addition to our own experience, I am very aware of the good work DMC does for the community: a large percentage of the patients do not have insurance to cover all costs. When my family moved back to the USA from Germany, I found myself looking for a labor and delivery experience like the mid-wife centered one in the german healthcare system. A friend sent me to TEPEYAC and I've never looked anywhere else! I was pregnant with my third child and I was confronted with a breech birth situation. I know that the whole Divine Mercy Care team prayed for me as I was going through that dilemma. In the end, Dr. Fisk performed a successful version procedure so my daughter could be born the way my sons had been. Prayer is the hallmark of what makes TEPEYAC a different practice. Yes, the OB/GYN team prays for its patients! Sadly, I lost a fourth child to an early miscarriage the day before I was scheduled for a first visit in the TEPEYAC office. I'll never forget the tenderness I experienced in my sorrow. At the end of the sonogram to check my situation, Dr. Bruchalski gave me a big bear hug, said he was "so sorry" and he prayed for me. I will never forget that moment where he shared his caring for me and for my lost child. When you are a patient at TEPEYAC you're not just a patient, you're part of a family.

She said that t\she always felt comfortable and cared for at the Tepeyac Center. The Tepeyac Center made it possible for my friend to receive all the help needed to help bring her child to term. She said that the care she received was phenomenal and that all of the staff was so kind, helpful and supportive.

Tepeyac Family Center, the beneficiary of Divine Mercy Care, has been such an important part of our lives, helping us bring our children into the world. Their belief in the dignity of every human life is apparent in all that they do. From the surgical removal of our ectopic pregnancy, to the premature birth and death of our first son, to the full-term birth of another, every life was celebrated as a gift from God. John T. Bruchalski, Dr. Marie Anderson and the many volunteers of Divine Mercy Care offer women in crisis pregnancies an alternative to abortion. Statistics clearly prove that abortion has a profoundly negative impact on women and their families. The care that the doctors offer respects the dignity inherent in every human person, born and unborn. There is no way to measure the profound impact of one human life and the blessings that life offers the world.

I am a client and also a donor. Divine Mercy Care's Tepeyac Family Center provides an amazing combination of highly competent and incredibly compassionate obstetrical and gynecological care to all who need it, regardless of the ability to pay. In the nearly six years I have been a patient there, the practice has grown enormously in size and has experienced some growing pains but has only increased in professionalism and quality of care. I can speak personally about the level of care. Several years ago, very early in my third pregnancy, before my initial maternity visit, I called Tepeyac to ask if it was possible for me to move my appointment up because, as I told the nurse answering their triage line, I was concerned that "something really didn't feel right" and I was leaving town the next day for Thanksgiving. I imagine many groups would have dismissed my concerns, but the doctors there ordered a blood test for me that day. Dr. Anderson called me with the results while I was traveling the next day and told me that I may be about to experience a miscarriage or ectopic pregnancy. She told me exactly what to watch for, told me how to know if I should go to the emergency room, and the specific test results I should share with the doctors there if the worst should happen. Two days later, as I experienced the symptoms she described in the middle of the night, I knew it was time to go to the ER. I also knew exactly what to tell the doctors there, and I was so thankful that I did. They told me they were inclined to say I had food poisoning, but with the information I was able to confidently give them, they diagnosed a ruptured ectopic pregnancy and proceeded with emergency surgery. It may be that Tepeyac's willingness to follow up promptly and thoroughly on a patient's concern and to trust that patient's judgment saved my life that night. Tepeyac's amazing care did not end then. After the emergency surgery, I experienced residual pain that limited my activity. Dr. Fisk monitored me kindly and carefully for several months until we decided it was time for him to perform a follow-up surgery. He was able to find the source of the problem and I have thankfully been free of the burden of that pain ever since. I can't stress enough how amazing it is that Divine Mercy Care has found a way to provide this level of care to so many people from so many different circumstances. I will soon be having my fourth child (my third with the Tepeyac practice) and I would never want to go anywhere else.

I learned of Divine Mercy Care first through some friends whose daughters were treated there during their pregnancies. Then, when my own daughter and a daughter-in-law went to Divine Mercy Care at Tepeyac during their pregnancies and delivered four healthy and beautiful babies I heard so many good things from them about the care and concern that the staff of Divine Mercy Care demonstrated by the outstanding leadership of Dr. Bruchalski and his team of doctors. This was further emphasized when my oldest granddaughter became pregnant and did not have health insurance and was severely limited in her ability to pay for prenatal care. Thanks to Divine Mercy Care she received exceptional care and needed an emergency C-section when the time came for her baby to be delivered. It goes without saying just how grateful I am that my first great-grandchild was born, arriving safely as the result of the expertise and professionalism demonstrated by the very qualified staff of Divine Mercy Care. Divine Mercy Care deserves the support of the community it serves as it strives to advance its pro-life message in today's world. It is providing an unequaled service to expectant mothers and their unborn babies in a culture that does not necessarily support innocent human life or recognize the gift of life as it should. Considering my own experiences of having five children many years ago, and comparing it with the very positive experiences of my own daughter, daughter-in-law and granddaughter, Divine Mercy Care provides by far the best prenatal health care available today for an expectant mother and her unborn child. Support of this most worthwhile organization should be promoted and I will continue to do so with my prayers and my purse.

What I find most impressive about Divine Mercy is how strongly the underlying philosophy lives and breathes in the day-to-day work of the clinic. The emphasis - treating the patient as a whole person, and the care provided as an integrated part of the patient's whole well-being - seems like an easy platitude, until you spend a day in the clinic and experience the astonishing atmosphere of personal trust that permeates even the smallest interactions. Nothing could be further from the harried, impersonal and institutional attitudes that one unconsciously expects from so many medical care providers.

The phenomenal doctors at DMC took me seriously when I approached them about my desire for a VBAC with my second child after my first (very long) labor ended in a C-section. Many doctors nowadays have no interest in taking VBAC patients because it is simply easier to perform a planned C-section. On the contrary, the doctors at DMC took everything in my situation into account. They answered all of my questions and Dr Anderson prayed with me when my daughter was breech at 35 weeks, an almost sure sign that my VBAC wasn't going to happen. My daughter was born two days early, via VBAC last August. I was so grateful not to have had the miserable recovery I had the first time. I am eternally grateful for the wonderful care I received from the DMC doctors.

I drove over an hour just to be seen at this clinic, and after my visit I can say I would have driven three or four. In fact, I have moved out of state, but I would strongly consider flying to Virginia so I could come to Tepeyac once a year for my annual "well woman" exam. That may seem like an extreme statement, but I place such high value on getting medical care from professionals who share my religious beliefs. I know without a doubt when I walk into that clinic, there is not ONE thing going on there that is ethically questionable. What a blessing! I saw Dr. Anderson, and she was just a blessing from start to finish. She was attentive, compassionate and caring. I never felt like I was being rushed through or that my appointment time was cutting into the next client's visit. After the exam she brought me into her office to go over her findings and discuss a plan with me. I hope and pray that the Divine Mercy Care system will spread across the country like wildfire! I was serving in Afghanistan when my first grandchild, Edward Joseph, was born in February 2008. I was sad that I missed his arrival but when Eddie was diagnosed with Down Syndrome and a serious heart condition hours after his birth I was crushed. I wanted to get home to see Eddie and be with my son, daughter-in-law and family, but I could not. Fortunately I was able to speak with them every day. And every day the kids, my wife, and my in-laws all told me the same thing - the Divine Mercy Care/Tepeyac doctors and staff were angels who gave them hope and encouragement. Those doctors shared our joy at Eddie's life and worked to plan his future. Half way around the world I was re-assured by them. About two weeks after Eddie's birth I was in the chapel at Bagram Air Base, Afghanistan and am American newspaper caught my eye. The paper had a story, several pages in length, about Divine Mercy Care and the staff. I felt like I was reading about people I knew. I read about their approach to patients and to life, about how they serve the poor with the same professional care and joy as they do the "haves," and I was very, very grateful to them. When our granddaughter, Gianna Marie Sloan, was born in January 2010 I got to meet some of the doctors in person! God bless those folks, and may more people like them find ways to practice the way they do.

Divine Mercy Care is an amazing organization that puts the lives of women and children FIRST in everything they do. I had delivered four children in other obstetrics practices when I heard about Dr. John Bruchalski, a pro-life doctor and Tepeyac Family Center. I was ready to go to a doctor who would not ask me if I was "finished" having kids, and wonder if I wanted to "have my tubes tied." I proceeded to receive first-class pre-natal care, was able to bring my other little children to appointments because they had a nice play area for siblings, and know that the doctors and nurses cared about me, my preborn child, and my whole family. Further, it was very refreshing to have a doctor understand and share the importance of faith in God. Incredibly, my first pregnancy with the practice ended in a miscarriage at 4 1/2 months gestation. In total shock after having 4 live births, the attending doctor, Dr. Fisk, ordered blood work to try to determine the cause although he said, most miscarriages happen and no one knows why. I consider him to have been incredibly thorough and insightful in doing this. He was also very compassionate. His efforts proved worthwhile this time, as I was found to be in the 10 - 20 percent of women whose blood tests reveal the presence of cardio-lipin antibody - a leading cause of miscarriage after 3 months and of still births. There was also a treatment for this condition. Shortly after the miscarriage, I conceived again, and went on the treatment of choice, a daily "baby" aspirin. I took the medicine as directed. At the time of birth, the placenta was terribly riddled with calcium deposits, which, as I was told, could cause a still birth. However, I believe that due to the diligence of Dr. Fisk in putting me on the treatment regimen, my son was able to survive and is 13 years old at this time. I suffered another miscarriage a couple of years later before undergoing early menopause. Throughout every phase of my cycling, I was counseled and supported with excellent care. It was my understanding that if a woman could not afford to pay for care or was without insurance, she would not be turned away.

I saw Dr. Bruchalski for my first exam at Tepeyac. At the time my husband, who died a few months later, was terminally ill with cancer. Dr. Bruchalski very kindly spent a great deal of time with me after my exam discussing my husband's case and gently explaining how he was going to die (something no other doctor had done.) He even offered to come and see my husband should my husband desire it. I could see him actually praying a few times during my visit. I have since other doctors at the Center, all very professional and competent, but I have never forgotten that first visit. Over the years I have heard from many other patients about their experiences with Tepyac, and also referred patients there. Not once have I heard a negative coment.

When I walk into Tepeyac Family Center, I never have to leave my human dignity at the door. In fact, the doctors and staff elevate my sense of dignity and worth as a person. When they treat my conditions, they treat my whole person. I am not just a set of reporductive organs with an animal sex drive--I am a human being who is called to love others and capable of reasoning through my choices. Tepeyac is truly "life-giving", as any medical establishment should be. At my youngest son's birth, he began to show signs of fetal distress. Dr. Anderson, not taking any chances, immediately prepped me for an emergency c-section. I was distressed myself, but her bedside manner couldn't have beem more comforting. She delivered my boy, safe and sound. The umbilical cord had been wrapped around his neck, causing strangulation each time he'd tried to descend. 10 years later I still thank God for Dr. Anderson. Tepeyac Family Center is the only place for me, providing the finest in personal health care.

It was a caring practice that went beyond just routine ob/gyn services. Over the years, I have received pro-bono care when our family finances were very thin. Dr. Bruchalski diagnosed a problem that I was unaware of which had nothing to do with ob/gyn - he went beyond the routine; he took time to investigate the problem. Tepeyac has always made me feel as if I'm the only person of concern - no rush, no hurry, always caring. It's a beautiful practice that holds the dignity and care of human life primary. It's a wonderful caring answer to our rushed and impersonal culture.

It was the year 2000 and I was an immigrant from Italy who never had the desire or need to go see a obgyn. In my transition phase, I have experienced some medical issues that needed to be addressed by a gynecologist. So, my husband looked up names of his Alma Mater graduates who were in the field. We found Dr. Paul McCauley and called him. He was at the time in MD, and we were in Northern Virginia, but we went to see him and we were both very impressed. A year later when I needed to see him again, I called his office asking if he had a practice in VA, and that's how we found out that he was working at the Tepeyac Center, part of Divine Mercy Care. We decided to go see him there. It was a wonderful experience. We liked him already, but we grew fonder and fonder of him and all the staff at the Divine Mercy Care. In May 2004 when I found out I was pregnant with my first child, the nurse, Mary, was as excited to tell us the news as if we were related to her. Dr. Fisk, on duty that day, was as nice as he could be and proceeded by taking our child's first sonogram! During my pregnancy, Dr. McCauley, Dr. Fisk, Dr. Bruchalski and Dr. Anderson became my medical team, but also my support team. In the course of 7 years, on more than one occasion I can remember praising the Lord and/or praying in the examinaion room with Dr. Bruchalski, and I have been enriched by the spirituality and professional care of every doctor on "my" team who worked and/or still works at the Divine Mercy Care. In the last 5 years I developed a great devotion to the Divine Mercy of Jesus because I have experienced His Mercy and loving Care in my life. I know I have been touched by that same merciful and loving care also in the hands of "my" doctors. I could feel that to them this is not just a medical profession, but a true ministry. There could not be a better name for this incredible place! God bless all of those who worked, work and will work there! Two years and half ago I moved to TN and, although I have met a few good doctors, I have yet to find a comparable medical center where I can feel like a child of God and not "just" a patient!

Dr. John Bruchalski is a Saul to Paul conversion having performed abortions and coming to the Light of God realized what he was doing and subsequently began devoting his life to serving women who may choose abortion. I can tell you from personal experience: If you take the opportunity to converse with this fine Christian physician, you will leave a better person. I can also attest to the fact that many women who are currently in our prison system today have been sexually manipulated, abused and impregnated and coerced into having abortions. This Godly physician is not only saving the lives of God's most precious children but healing women's lives one soul at a time! What higher calling is that?

I went to the Tepeyac Center after struggling trying to conceive for 18months. My previous OB/GYN told me that I was not ovulating and wanted to send me to a fertility clinic. When I showed her my charts that indicated I do in fact ovulate and expressed concerns that I had endometriosis, she wrote of the charting as inaccurate non-medically proven information and dismissed my concerns about endometriosis. I decided that I needed a different doctor. Within the first 5 minutes of my second opinion consult, the doctor told me that she thought I did in fact have endometriosis and that my charts clearly showed I was ovulating. The bloodwork the other doctor had done was done at the wrong time and hence did not show my ovulation correctly. I can't say enough about how supportive, understanding and smart the doctors at the Tepeyac Center are. They are truly interested in healing and helping women - body, mind and soul!

I'll never forget Dr. Bruchalski's warmth and compassion when he saw I had had a miscarriage, and that I was coming in for my first check-up for this new pregnancy. I always felt as though I was the only one being served by DMC even though I was fully aware that is how they treated everyone. I liked getting my necessary medications without being forced to materially support service-providers that acted contrary to the Moral Law and my personal beliefs. Every interaction with DMC was a joy and I think that an honest examination of anyone's conscience would clearly reveal that this is the way authentic health care should be provided, always and everywhere. DMC is genuine health care reform and they insist on proposing this as the preferred method and not imposing it as such. Perhaps the lawyers legislating physicians' jobs should look to DMC as an example of authentic choice in health care.

I was so touched by my medical and spiritual care given by Tepeyac Family Center, operated by DMC, that I promised God that if I ever had a chance to give back to the amazing souls at TFC, that I would. So when the opportunity to help with their annual Gala presented itself 7 years ago, I stepped right up to help. I have since acted in a number of large planning roles, and I have to say, that I am still honored to be able to give this organization even so little compared to what they've both given my family and give to so many others- all in the name of the sanctity of life. My husband and I have been on a long, touching journey with TFC. Our first pregnancy about 8 years ago was ectopic (tubal); when Dr. Bruchalski found our baby in my fallopian tubes on the ultrasound, he immediately prayed with us. How incredible! We later lost another baby and then went through years of infertility. Dr. B was always willing to answer ethics questions re: fertility treatments. Our first miracle came when we adopted our first daughter and then our second miracle came when we conceived and carried our second daughter to term, under the care of the doctors at Tepeyac. Their knowledge of NFP is so refreshing. I was able to show Dr. B. my temperature charts and he was able to pinpoint exactly what was happening with my PCOS when I had heavy mid-cycle bleeding just by looking at my trends over a few cycles. (My endocrinologist, the specialist, on the other hand, had only a vague idea of what happened). This just shows how TFC understands the female body to a higher degree than others. They do amazing things here, not only for us, but thousands of others. Their compassion is unparalleled. Need a OB/GYN? Find Tepeyac Family Center.

I have been very impressed with everyone I've encountered at Tepeyac, from those who greeted me on my arrival to the doctors, nurses and even those who took my blood! I had some special situations and the doctor called me personally several times to talk through them on the phone, asking questions to go deeper into the problem and possible causes. I've been to many doctors for the same issues and usually they stop at the surface or symptom level, rarely going to deeper levels. Of course I certainly appreciate their pro-life views, having been to OB-GYNs offices where I was surrounded by contraceptive paraphernalia in the waiting room -- can be a bit disconcerting.

For many doctors, the reason they chose medicine is for the intellectual challenge of the science and art of caring for the human person; the ability to help those less fortunate than oneself, and to practice a profession that is noble and a vital part of their community. With all the changes in medicine and the uncertainty of Obamacare, many are looking to mentors in the field that still are excited and satisfied with their profession. Divine Mercy Care does that supremely. By living the Hippocratic Oath, and serving the underserved in the communtiy, we help doctors realize the why's of their choice of medicine in a world of incredible uncertainty and hypocrisy.

After years of infertility and many GYN issues, someone mentioned I should try Dr. Bruchalski at Tepeyac, which had recently opened. I was unsure about the multiple-hour drive each way, but decided to try it. I'm so grateful I did and still make the drive for all my OB-GYN needs after all these years! Dr. B and all the other doctors who've joined the practice since have been so great - cheering with my happy events and crying and praying with me during my difficult ones. While prior OB-GYNs just literally suggested I should "have a drink or two" because my exams were physically so painful for me, Dr. B. is so patient and found ways to make it not be so painful. While prior OB-GYNs literally mocked me for trying to have my OB-GYN care be in line with my firmly-held beliefs, this whole practice is committed to excellent health care without violating those beliefs! I obviously expect my doctors to be well-educated and well-informed, but I'm just so thrilled about their above-and-beyond compassion and offering me treatment options that will me help me as a whole person and then letting me make decisions! I know I can always trust them and that they truly care about me - and not any money they might make!

I heard about Dr. Bruchalski and decided to try him. Unlike other OB-GYN doctors I had seen, this one actually listened to me and allowed me to have an active voice in my treatment options instead of acting like I was just a dumb woman who should do things I didn't want to do just because the doctor said so. Other doctors belittled me when I said I wanted to have my treatment options be in line with my firmly held beliefs - Dr. Bruchalski supported and applauded that I wanted to stay true to myself. I really would have to write a book to describe how wonderful this organization is about treatment women with true respect and dignity and compassion - and helping them with great medical care!

I have been a patient of Tepeyac Family Center, the main operating entity of Divine Mercy Care, for the last 11 years. In that time I have had six pregnancies and numerous pregnancy complications. Through it all I have been repeatedly impressed by the excellent professional, personal, faith-filled care I have received. After losing our first son to premature birth the Tepeyac practice was instrumental in our healing process. Divine Mercy Care hosts an annual memorial service for children lost to miscarriage, premature birth, still birth, infant death and abortion. We were blessed by the birth of our next son, full term, just 11 months later after our loss. When that pregnancy ended I genuinely missed the regular interaction with the Tepeyac Family Center and wished I could think of a way to stay connected to the organization (how many people can you think of who say that about their Ob/Gyn?). The doctors of Divine Mercy Care provided top quality care for all my pregnancies and deliveries, but their devotion to caring for me physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually, during a life-threatening condition, was really outstanding. Suffering from a severe case of placenta previa, I was hospitalized during the last trimester of my pregnancy, and remained there for 7 weeks until the birth of my baby girl. My doctors came by every morning to check on me. They listened to my fears, my complaints, and worked hard to make my long-term stay as pleasant as possible. After one scare, Dr. Anderson sat down with me and really listened. Balancing the need for the baby to mature enough in-utero with the risks to my health was extremely difficult. I felt the time had come to deliver the baby and this is what I told Dr. Anderson. She took action immediately. The next morning, Dr. Anderson and Dr. Bruchalski were there to perform the C-section. All along, my baby girl had been laying sideways transverse across my belly, and gave us a run for our money every day when we tried to monitor her heart beat. The sonogram performed the morning of the C-section indicated the baby's head was down and she was getting ready for an early exit. If Dr. Anderson had not taken the time to really listen to me, the outcome would have been very different since the placenta was completely covering the baby's normal exit route. Here from my laptop, I am watching our baby girl Gianna dancing and giggling. We are always going to be grateful for the doctors of Divine Mercy Care.

There are not words to express the gratitude we feel for the fine staff and doctors at Divine Mercy Care. Through several "normal" deliveries and then several high risk and premature deliveries the staff treated us the same.... with tremendous compassion and professional expertise. One of my dearest memories of the many, many hours I have spent with the staff and doctors at DMC is actually not time that was spent with me at all. When our 8th and 9th children, twins, were taken prematurely they were very ill, as was myself. The nurses in the NICU became close friends in the two months that the babies were in the NICU. It was a great comfort when I would come in to see the babies, and be told that once again my OB, Dr. John Bruchalski had been in to visit with the babies and keep them company. For me that sums up the care all patients receive at DMC...so much more than would be expected, but not surprising when you know these remarkable doctors and their staff. Erin Vander Woude

Although I have been a patient since before they became a non-profit, I have always observed the diversity of the clientele, ranging from Muslim women and other immigrants to prosperous local people. Once, I saw a poor circus performer being treated with dignity and respect. Children are welcome and the waiting room is full of toys, so that poor women can bring their other children comfortable in the knowledge that they will not be frowned upon or endangered. Although this is an ob-gyn centered group, I was diagnosed with another condition that would have gone untreated for years. I conceived a child while taking anti-coagulant drugs that are dangerous for pregnancy. I was devasted to find that I was expecting but what was worse, every healthcare provider I contacted recommended abortion over the phone -- with no exam or details of my situation. Through a friend, I found that Tepeyac Family Center takes on high-risk OB patients. I made an appointment and they squeezed me in before the week was out. Eight and a half months later, I gave birth to a perfect baby girl under their care. Even though it was my most difficult pregancy with diabetes and hypertension and lovenox injections, it was my "cadillac" of labor and deliveries. My older daughters, who were present for the birth, still talk about Dr. Bruchalski who was able to connect with them both. My mom loved that he prayed with our family while I was in labor. The whole thing was a beautful experience and I could never express my gratitude fully for the great gift our family received. For the whole pregnancy, no one ever made me feel that I had done something stupid or wrong. From the moment I entered the office, I felt supported in my pregnancy. I had been told by my former OB/GYN that my irregular cycles were an indication that I would not be able to have children. This physician was also very forceful in her suggestion to use birth control and I was growing tired of telling her at every visit that I wasn't interested in it. I sought out a second opinion at Divine Mercy Care/Tepeyac Family Center because I knew about their pro-life model and knew I could at least expect advice that did not involve taking The Pill. I was able to get a new patient appointment quickly and I was extremely pleased with my consultation. Not only were the office staff friendly and helpful, but the physician I met with was knowledgable and courteous as well. She took time to answer my questions and offered me a thorough exam. After taking my history and completing a few simple tests, she was able to assure me that my "irregular" cycles were not as abnormal as I had thought and should not be cause for concern as far as bearing children was concerned. If location hadn't been a concern for us (we have to use public transportation to get to the office and it's more than an hour each way), my husband and I would have returned to the office for their OB services when we conceived our first child.

I'm a regular patient at Divine Mercy Care, and the care is extraordinary. I've been a professor for 30 years and over that time I've sent many young woman who were frightened and unable to care for themselves or their child to DMC; they have always been cared for just as well as I've been, though they are unable to pay. The staff is kind, patient, uplifting, and joyful. There's no better place!

Divine Mercy Care provides health care and more to anyone in need. I have been the recipient of health care as a patient, as well as a labor coach for others in need of support during their labor and birth experience. Each physician in the practice is caring and nurturing, spending much more time than physicians in "regular" practices usually do. The needs of indigent clientele are addressed by the center's patient advocate, and everything from car seats, safe sleeping envirnoments, and infant clothing and equipment are provided to those in financial need. This practice is truly a place where faith comes alive on a daily basis!

This clinic means so much to so many women I know and means a great deal to me too. When I was pregnant with my first baby, I was happy to find such a caring and compassionate group of physicians who really took time to listen to me and to give thoughtful advice. I did not appreciate just how rare this wonderful clinic was until I was pregnant with my second baby and unfortunately no longer living in close proximity to the facility. I was recommended to a doctor in my new area and was greatly disappointed. I switched doctors three times in that pregnancy, shocked by the fact that most of the doctors and nurse practitioners I saw were rushed seeming and came across as very cold. When I said I didn't want certain tests done I was treated with great condescension, whereas Divine Mercy Care had encouraged my freedom to follow my conscience in receiving prenatal care. I finally found a good physician in the ninth month of my second pregnancy, but this was only one doctor and she was not available for every appointment. At Divine Mercy Care, all of the physicians--without exception--with whom I had appointments were wonderful and eager to answer any concerns, never seeming rushed. I am so happy to have had my experience with DMC, so that I know that there is still great compassion in healthcare and that I do not have to settle for anything less.

I have been volunteering for Divine Mercy Care on their gala committee for the past four years, but I have been a patient of Tepeyac Family Center, run by DMC, for 11 years. I love this organization because they care for their patients deeply and show it through the time they spend with you, prayers with and for you, and their expertise in dealing with complicated medical situations in a very personal way. I have experienced "normal" and high-risk pregnancies, a late term miscarriage, and pregnancy and childbirth while we had no maternity coverage on our insurance. The various doctors and office staff I have dealt with in all these situations made me feel important, cared for, and understood. When we had no insurance they even went out of their way to make sure that nothing was left undone due to lack of money - they set up payment plans and did whatever necessary to make sure I got all the care I needed. I began volunteering on the gala committee to give back to DMC for all they have done for me and others like me. My fellow volunteers are there for similar reasons and we all are happy to share our time and talents to help Divine Mercy Care, especially in its goal of helping women in crisis pregnancies and those who are uninsured.

Divine Mercy Care, by enabling the Tepeyac Family Center to operate, is performing a service to the community that is unparalleled by any other organization. There are few options in the Washington, DC, area, for women's health care that is naturally in tune with a woman's body, and not dependent primarily on drugs made from synthetic chemical substances. I had an extreme case of female health complications, which came close to killing me more than once. I also have chemical sensitivities that make me unable to tolerate most prescription drugs. When I found Dr. John Bruchalski through the local Couple to Couple League, I received the most tender loving care imaginable. I was welcomed with open arms, an open mind, and a kind and loving heart--even though I am not of the Catholic faith and not pro-life. What a difference in the way I was treated from previous gynecologists! Dr. Bruchalski worked with a homeopathic health care practitioner to find nature-based remedies for my problems. He supported me in the use of Natural Family Planning, which freed my husband and I from the debilitating effects of birth control pills (fatigue, nausea, migraine headaches). Though I am not Catholic and did not have moral restrictions, I could not tolerate the strong chemicals in birth control pills. I used Natural Family Planning safely and comfortably for 30 years, until menopause. (I want to stress that this is NOT the same as "rhythm," and when used properly is more effective than birth control pills.) More recently, Dr. Bruchalski spent a lot of time supporting me through a difficult menopause, even though his primary practice is delivering babies. He and his staff have treated and advised me for 20 years, and I am an extremely grateful patient/client. Divine Mercy Care has allowed the practice to grow and prosper, supporting even more women with the highest quality of medical care combined with loving kindness. That's something you can't get anywhere else in the Washington area.

My husband and I have had 6 pregnancies, only 2 of which came to full term. Of those 2, one required a lengthy and complicated recovery after an extensive episiotomy and one required a c-section. With both, I experienced the healing care of the doctors at Divine Mercy Care (DMC). The doctors are excellent surgeons and restored me to good health in difficult circumstances. The 4 miscarriages my husband and I experienced were each devastating to us, sometimes threatening my life with unexpected hemorrhaging. The doctors at Divine Mercy Care cried with us each time we learned a baby's heart no longer beat and even met with me to counsel me after my first loss. They pray with me when I ask and genuinely desire the full healing of my body and spirit. There is no other medical practice in whom I place such trust with my life and the lives of my children. The doctors at DMC have changed my life for the better, as well as the lives of my husband and children.

I have been a patient of Tepeyac Family Center (Divine Mercy Care) for almost 16 years and they have delivered my 7 children born in those years. I have continued to go to Tepeyac, despite the fact that the office is a good hour away, because the care I have received there has been excellent. The doctors and staff are truly concerned about their patients and this concern shows in every aspect of their care. The fact that a large number of their patients are treated pro bono (and many of these involve complicated or difficult circumstances) shows that their concern is not monetary, but the well being of women and their children. When I had complications after several births, not only was I confident that I was receiving the best care possible, but I was comfortable placing my life and health in their hands. When people ask me why I don't find an OB/GYN closer to home, I simply reply that when you're getting the best, it's worth the drive.

The Tepeyac Family Center/Divine Mercy Care is an AMAZING non-profit healthcare facility in Northern Va. I have received excellent care there during both my current pregnancy and my first pregnancy (in 2008). The doctors and staff are knowledgeable and friendly - and they go out of their way to help their patients. DMC provides OB-GYN care to regular, OB-GYN patients like myself - but also to an increasing number of clients who are facing crisis pregnancies and who are uninsured. But more than providing medical care free-of-charge to uninsured pregnant women, DMC/Tepeyac also has groups of volunteers that work together to provide expectant moms with all the basics they will need for baby care (diapers, wipes, clothes, formula, etc) The doctors are also some of the most compassionate you will ever meet. Last year, when I was having other health issues unrelated to OB-GYN care (I had cancer), the OBs at Tepeyac met with me to try and help assess the impact of cancer on future pregnancies - and they even helped put me on the right path to treatment when I was overwhelmed by the myriad of choices. My husband and I are so grateful for their support!

My experience at the Tepeyac Family Center fills me with hope. As a healthcare professional, I’ve been jaded by physicians made mediocre in a system that encourages them to limit relevant and effective, individual-based care. My 2008 call to the Tepeyac Family Center was a “last-ditch effort” to ameliorate a condition I’d suffered eight years. I knew this practice, if any, could and would refer me to a trustworthy specialist. Someone who would treat me as a whole—-an intelligent and dignified woman. Someone who would listen to me—-because I was the person who knew me best. To my surprise, rather than referring me elsewhere, my doctor suggested the practitioner I sought was his partner! I am continually amazed at the time the Tepeyac physicians grant their patients, the manner by which they listen to and encourage patients to detail experiences prior to dispensing advice, the physicians’ willingness to discuss options, and their applause for a holistic approach to well-being. Each encounter is as genuine as the last and demonstrates a passion and compassion for those entering the Center’s doors. All physicians are called to be healers of the human body, but the Tepeyac staff heals and empowers women in so many other ways. Time and again I leave the office with a sense of normalcy, new possibility, and dignity…and hope! Thank you Drs. Bruchalski, Anderson, Fisk, Pereira, Cvetkovich, and Brown!

Divine Mercy Care truly lives by the philosophy they espouse--namely that all women deserve top-notch medical care no matter her financial state in life. "Top-notch medical care" is what I have received at Divine Mercy Care, and much more besides. They treat every single one of their patients--born and pre-born--as a precious gift of life. No where else have I experienced such genuine and solicitous attention as at Divine Mercy Care. When my husband and I found out we were expecting, we were both a little apprehensive. We weren't sure how we were going to afford a pregnancy since neither of us has health insurance, and I have had bad experiences with OB-GYN doctors and clinics in the past. We made an appointment with Divine Mercy Care for a consultation, fully expecting to hear a sales pitch for their clinic, be quickly shown some materials on the pregnancy experience, and be shuffled out the door--after visit to their desk clerk to pay the doctor for her time. Instead, what we got was an hour long visit with the medical director of the clinic in which she outlined all the options available to us in the pregnancy/birthing experience, answered any and all questions and concerns we had, and explained the philosophy of Divine Mercy Care that when it came to pregnancy care service every woman regardless of financial status deserved top-notch medical care. We met with the patient advocate in charge of drawing up financial planning strategies, where once again we were treated with all possible deference and concern, and waived past the desk clerk on our way out, as, they explained, "we were only there for a consultation." As we walked out the door, my husband and looked at each other and said, "We're sold." Since we made the decision to use Divine Mercy Care I have been even more impressed with their medical professionalism and the care they take of their patients. Their payment plans are immanently reasonable and inclusive of every procedure, test, and physician's visit, so there are no "hidden costs." To every woman they offer comprehensive routine medical testing and a wide range of optional genetic testing, always with a mind toward the patient's comfort and preferences. Their doctors are proficient and professional, and after having been with them for some time now, frankly, I can't imagine why any woman would want to go anywhere else for her medical care.

No words can describe the work of the hands of the doctors and staff at Tepeyac Family Center. They have been there for me over the past 10 years from the time I got married, to the most recent birth of our daughter in 2008. Dr. Bruchalski, Dr. Fisk and staff prayed with me and my husband when our pregnancy was uncertain, at first, and then throughout our pregnancy and all the challenges happening to our family unit during that time. I felt love and light--the peace of Christ--surround me during my visits and ensuing birth. Never have I been so grateful for their love, devotion, and healing ways. It think back now, and still remember how Dr. Bruchalski and the RN's called me back after-hours, just to reassure me or to provide test results when I experienced sub-chorionic bleeding early in my pregnancy. I was a patient at Tepeyac Family Center when I lived in the Virginia area. If I didn't relocate and currently live 5 hours away, I would still be a patient there! There are times where I think, "Well, maybe a five hour drive for an appointment IS doable!!" Every appointment I had at Tepeyac before, during, and after my pregnancy was always one of great warmth, respect, and care for both me, my husband, and the child I was carrying. You can literally feel the warmth of the staff and medical personnel when you walk through the doors. I was having trouble with my cycles when I met Dr. Bruchalski, and met with him a few times after that trying to get to the bottom of why I was having the difficulty I was having. I told my husband after each appointment, how comfortable and confident I felt with Dr. Bruchalski as my doctor and the staff at Tepeyac, and could not wait for the day when he got to meet him. A few months and a very big surprise later, we found out we were expecting our first little one!! I remember sitting in the room with my husband waiting to be seen by Dr. Bruchalski to confirm our pregnancy. There was a knock at the door, the door opened slowly, and in popped Dr. Bruchalski with an enormous smile on his face!! "Surprise!" we said!! He came into the room just smiling and beaming from ear to ear, hugging the both of us!! He was so genuinely happy and excited for us and the life we were getting ready to welcome into the world. The great thing about his enthusiasm, is that it was the same and continued with each appointment we had. He was as excited for us at every checkup as he was at the first checkup. When my husband and I left our first appointment as expecting parents, my husband said to me, "I can see why you like Dr. Bruschalski so much. I have never met a doctor like him before in my life. He is awesome...he was so excited for us, you would have thought he was the expecting uncle!!" While our main doctor was Dr. Bruschalski, our appointments and interactions with all the doctors were the same: a pure, genuine excitement accompanied by concern, respect, and compassion for us and our baby at every appointment. Anyone and everyone I can refer to Tepeyac, I do...they are all THAT wonderful! Dr. Anderson was on call when I went into labor. I found out from a nurse when I arrived at the hospital, that Dr. Anderson had been delivering all throughout the night, and was getting ready to head home when I had called her to let her know I was in labor. You wouldn't have known that though to see her walk through the doors to come check on me. She walked into the room bright eyed and enthusiastic with an enormous and reassuring smile on her face. It didn't appear to be a doctor who was delivering all night long...it didn't phase her...she was excited to be delivering yet another life into this world. All throughout the labor, Dr. Anderson showed great compassion, patience, a calming presence, and genuine enthusiasm for all that was taking place. Though I was in need of an emergency c-section, her demeanor remained calm, her heart compassionate, and her excitement and enthusiasm for the life we were bringing into the world, high and genuine...a true and unbelievable professional!! I cannot say enough WONDERFUL WONDERFUL things about Divine Mercy Care/Tepeyac Family Center. The care they give to each individual patient makes you feel as though you are the only patient they have...that is how much time, energy, respect, and compassion they give to all of their patients. They are truly amazing and unbelievable. I miss being a patient there, terribly. As I said, there are days where I think the five hour drive would be doable. :)

The doctors at Tepeyac Family Center were always my favorite doctors to go to. I would rejoice when I discovered that another little one was on the way and I would get to visit with them again. They are friendly, encouraging, caring, professional but also take an interest in each patient. When one of the doctors saved the life of my daughter - they were forever emblazoned in my heart. However, when I found out that a quarter of all their patients were uninsured or underinsured - or that they would pay for necessary treatments if insurance refused - I realized it was time to step forward and help raise money towards the almost $400,000 in care that they end up "eating." In addition to medical care, they also help some of the uninsured moms find help finding the resources to set up their lives to take care of their newborns. Tepeyac Family Center and Divine Mercy Care have truly found a way to combine the best of modern medicine with the kindness and loving spirit of Christ. It's a lovely place with a divine mission.

While I have seen some institutions that try to help hispanic immigrant women, I have never seen one that truly provides women with information, health care and support without demeaning her dignity. The women I saw were faced with crisis pregnancies with no health care, often without a supportive husband or boyfriend and not infrequently in an abusive relationship. Each woman was counseled personally and treated as an individual with dignity. No one was judged, rather they received love, emotional support, clear information in their native language, referrals for help, and an advocate to help them through the difficult time.

I had heard about Tepeyac/Divine Mercy Care from a Christian friend of mine and knew that I wanted my care to be centered around a pro-life point of view. The doctors and staff were truly wonderful throughout the entire pregnancy and birth, which ended up being a c-section. Two years later I was pregnant again, this time cut short by a miscarriage. The doctors were extremely compassionate and caring, one even cried with me and prayed with me. I felt so loved and supported during such a difficult time, and it helped tremendously. Subsequent infertility problems arose and again I received very compassionate and professional care. My third pregnancy resulted in the birth of my son, again by c-section, but I had no worries because I knew I was in excellent hands. I continue to go to Tepeyac for my ob/gyn appointments and tratment for polycistic ovarian syndrome, and always feel respected and valued, not just a number or yet another patient in an assembly line.

My family was unable to attend a memorial service at Tepayac/Divine Mercy. Anna was so helpful in taking the time and expense to mail us a commemorative from the ceremony and Mass held that Saturday evening in May. Larry Bakin

I am a catholic who received invaluable information about infertility treatment from the center. Without them, I would have not been able to say that I now am a healthy and happy mother and truly committed catholic.

I've been a patient at Tepeyac since I found out I was pregnant with my first daughter in June of 2005. I now have 3 daughters, all of whom were delivered by doctors at Tepeyac. I wouldn't go anywhere else. It is a practice that cares for the whole person of both mother and baby. They are always considerate of the woman's wishes regarding her pregnancy and birth experience. I'd highly recommend them and we have donated to them as well.

At age 32, I had never been to a gynecologist. I had never had an annual exam. I was scared to go. I had many health problems that were impacting my reproductive health. The caring doctors, nurses, and staff at Tepeyac Family Center were so very kind and patient with me. I felt welcome and they worked with me to address my irregular cycles (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome), low thyroid, anemia, adrenal insufficiency, and insulin resistance. I was very embarassed that I had neglected myself. Care was compassionately given and my concerns were addressed very professionally. I was given the time and attention needed. Oh how kind they were. After working with them, I felt empowered to take care of other health issues with my family doctor. In-house blood testing services were great, (it didn't hurt and I am a wimp with the needles). I appreciate the pro-life stance that is taken by this group and that is one of the biggest reasons I chose this practice. They will not do anything that would compromise my dearly held religious values.

Each year I make hand-crafted items for the Divine Mercy Care gala. I have also made embroidered crosses for their annual memorial service for children who have been called to heaven before birth. Divine Mercy Care and the doctors and staff at the Tepeyac Family Medical Center have provided not only medical care but spiritual and emotional support to my daughter when she delivered a son at 23.5 weeks of pregnancy. Their loving care is invaluable not only in a crisis, but also in the regular care of their patients and their families.

The doctors and staff at Tepeyac are fantastic. I love being able to go to a practice that clearly cares about you and your child. I have delivered all of my children with this practice. Unlike so many other doctors they aren't just liability driven. They really want what is best for you not just convient for them. I will never forget when Dr.Bruchalski delivered my daughter and said how beautiful she was. It wasn't one of those canned phrases, like a robotic how are you today can be. You could see he was lokking at her and not just another baby.

I have worked as a Labor Doula with clients from Tepeyac Family Center for over 12 years. This practice encourages their clients to have labor doulas with them to help them have a more satisfying birth experience. They have always been very kind to me as a doula and always included me in the conversations with the client when decisions needed to be made and even asked if I had any other ideas that would be helpful. I do recommend this practice. They are very open to large families and are more flexible to mommy's wishes and desires then many other practices.

Divine Mercy Care is one of the greatest organizations I have ever come across. It would be in our top 5 reasons to stay living here in this area, to continue receiving care and assistance from Divine Mercy Care. I have had three babies with Tepeyac Family Center. I feel like I am in a secure bubble of protection. I hear terrible stories of women who experience all sorts of pressure and other things from OBGyns while going through maternity care. I feel protected and shielded being a part of the Divine Mercy Care family. Thank you Thank you for serving our community!! May God Bless all of our Doctors and staff!

The staff at the clinic are wonderful, caring and I have complete trust in all of the doctors when it comes to how they care for me, especially when problems occured in childbirth. I was also touched with how supportive they were when I had miscarraiges. I travel 45 minute (w/o traffic) to see them and have no intention of finding a practice that is closer to home.

We need more organizations like this. Divine Mercy is healthcare that supports the body, mind and spirit of its patients. It is so refreshing to see medical groups that go beyond the science of medicine to treat the the patient as a human person, not as a constellation of symptoms.

I learned about Divine Mercy Care when my daughter went to work there. She was a paid employee working with the medical team. I love in NC and she would tell me of the wonderful work that was being done there and all in accordance with the Catholic Christian tradition and with such love and caring. I only wish we had more of these clinics and more of these Doctors and medical workers to be available to all of us. God Bless You

Divine Mercy Care provides great service for people in need. The Tepeyac Family Center is a fantastic facility with top notch physicians, nurses and staff and I have highly recommended this office to others. I moved to Northern Virginia mid-pregnancy and due to insurance bureaucracy I had a very difficult time getting care and as a result missed much of my second trimester getting sent through red tape. Concerned about my health, we started looking outside and discovered Tepeyac. My experience with Tepeyac during the pregnancy and post-natal care of my daughter was fantastic and I continue as a patient for other health care needs. If you are looking for high quality, compassionate and caring health care, you will find all this and more at Tepeyac and Divine Mercy Care.

I originally got involved with DMC/Tepeyac as a pragmatic way of being “Pro-Life.” You can tell a couple experiencing an unplanned, crisis pregnancy not to have an abortion. But with DMC/Tepeyac you can also show people a caring path to pre-natal care and delivery support. And the doctors at DMC/Tepeyac are dedicated to practicing exceptional medicine, so this is truly a wonderful asset in our community. Having been involved with DMC/Tepeyac now for a few years, I have really come to appreciate their “Transforming Hearts through Healthcare” message. This message is in part a restoring of a faith-based perspective to healthcare that truly reinforces human dignity and caring in the practice of medicine. You can see the joy that faith-based practice brings to the doctors and nurses at DMC/Tepeyac. This joy touches patients and doctors in other practices , and is having a healing effect that is broad reaching.

I have been a patient at Tepeyac Family Center since 2002 when we relocated here from the midwest. Before finding Tepeyac, I had seen multiple specialists and had even been a participant in a double blind study at a major university for women with multiple miscarriages with no explanation for the cause. Dr. Bruchalski at Tepeyac was the first one to treat a specific condition that he discovered. So many of my previous symptoms were decreased or eliminated and he delivered my youngest son in 2005. Dr. Bruchalski and all of the doctors at Tepeyac respect the teachings of the Catholic Church in regards to promoting the dignity of each human life. I had often felt my previous doctors were only treating symptoms and not getting to the root of the problem or seeing me as a person with feelings, but only an object in their clinics. It is so refreshing to not only have access now to excellent healthcare but to have a doctor who really cares for his patients. Tepeyac goes the extra mile with their patients and it is so appreciated. I recently suffered another miscarriage and later I received a sympathy card from Tepeyac which was very touching. They also organize an annual memorial service for those who have experienced loss. I could go on and on, but the bottom line is that my experience at Tepeyac has been extremely positive and I highly recommend this nonprofit!

My wife started to go to Tepeyac after we got married. We were unable to conceive for several years and Dr. Bruchalski and his team were extremely supportive and professional. They recognize, indeed celebrated, the value and dignity of my wife as a person - as opposed to viewing her as a patient/client as happens at so many doctor's offices. Even though it would be of no benefit to them, Dr. B recommended we consider pursuing adoption. We did so and were blessed with our eldest daughter. Just before she was born, we found out my wife was expecting. Tepeyac delivered our oldest son for us as well. Leaving Tepeyac when we moved from Virginia was tough, but we are glad we have been able to continue to support them financially since then.

The doctors and staff at the Tepeyac Family Center (Divine Mercy Care's primary program) provide excellent, loving care and concern for both mother and child, not to mention father. My first visit to Tepeyac Family Center was when I was experiencing a miscarriage. They were so gentle and kind toward me, even giving me a hug. The knowledgeable doctors at Tepeyac ran blood tests that determined the reasons for my miscarriages and infertility. They went above and beyond in helping me with my future pregnancies and childbirths, and even when I had to deal with the unforeseen postpartum depression. One of the doctors even called me "pumpkin", a nickname my father gave me, during one of my visits, further displaying care, and God's love, for me and my family as we walked through this journey. I so appreciate their godly concern and high ethical and moral standards in their practice of medicine. I find such strength and dignity under their care. Thank you.

I went to the clinic with my heart broken after learning that the baby I carried had died. My previous doctors were harsh and cold with me. At DVC, I was welcomed with warmth and caring. They helped me through my grief, infertility, and then the high-risk pregnancy that gave me my twins. They delivered two more of my children and their care and concern in light of my somewhat unique situation has never been duplicated. The staff was loving, the doctors were smart, educated, but kind. They spent time with their patients and offered their respect to women and the choices they made for their bodies. Highly recommend!
