Mission: Promote and administer any and all local, state, or federal programs, regardless of age, race, sex, religion, disability, national origin or residence of eligible applicants or participants that meet the charitable missions of the nekaaa. To serve persons 60 years of age or older and the ocmmunities in which they live in the seven counties of its jurisdiction by planning, coordinating, and advocating for related programs and services that improve the quality of life for older persons and by contracting for or administering programs and services within the framework of state and federal regulations. Provide functional assessment for individuals on medicaid frail elderly (fe), physically disabled (pd), and traumatic brain injury (tbi) waivers.

home health services and legal services: nekaaa provides funding for a variety of in-home care services aimed at keeping older kansans in their homes as long as possible. These programs may include personal care, homemaker services, respite care, chore services, and other life supporting services. Nekaaa also provides assistance with legal services to individuals who are 60 years of age or older.
