Mission: We at Parent Education Network, a not-for-profit organization, recognize and respect the meaning of family. Founded in 1979 by a group of parents and professionals committed to breaking the cycle of child abuse and neglect, Parent Education Network provides prevention, intervention and treatment services designed to strengthen and support families. Since 1980, we have been helping families, offering parent education, counseling, child development programs, childcare, community development, and training for professionals, para-professionals, and community residents. Our professional and volunteer staff is dedicated to helping create safe, secure homes from which parents and children can draw vitality and hope.
