Mission: Help veterans with chronic pain and limb amputations return to an active lifestyle by providing an individualized intensive rehabilitative acupuncture program to help them restore mobility. Goal: Enhance the lifelong well-being of combat veterans with limb amputations in Anchorage by developing an easy-to–access health program that meets their unique social, economic and medical needs in returning to physical activity.
Results: We have assisted around 50 wounded veterans with serious war injuries return to work and sports by decreasing their pain and immobility by 80% on average.

Direct beneficiaries per year: 50 Veterans injured in combay
Geographic areas served: Anchorage
Programs: acupuncture designed to rapidly decrease their pain, injuries and help them with morphine dependency and withdrawal symptoms. We provide treatments through Choice (TriWest) and sponsored programs for Vets with limb amputations.
