(nchica) is a nonprofit consortium dedicated to accelerating the transformation of the us healthcare system through the effective use of information technology, informatics, and analytics. Nchica's focus areas are collaboration, engagement, and thought leadership.
Programs: Actively supporting nchica's mission to accelerate the transformation of the u. S. Healthcare system through the effective use of information technology, informatics, and analytics. August 29-31, 2016 nchica hosted the 22nd annual conference & exhibition at the omni grove park inn resort in asheville, nc. The event drew over 280 attendees. January 24, 2017 nchica hosts the first business partner roundtable webinar on cio 2017 challenges that drew nearly 125 nchica members. June 12-14, 2017 nchica hosted the 13th amc security & privacy conference at the friday center in chapel hill, nc. This event drew over 160 attendees fdeveloping and maintaining relationships with and among members in order to further the use of information technology, informatics and analytics in healthcare and the mission of the organization as a whole. Nchica workgroups bring members together to network, discuss common concerns, develop consensus approaches to solve commom problems, and gain professional development. Nchica distributed the "nchica update" newsletter to nearly 4,400 members and non-members. The newsletter informs subscribers about activities, memberships, member news, and other news items of interest. Rom across the u. S.
