Causes: Community & Neighborhood Development, Economic Development
Mission: Sustaining and improving the economic vitality of north berrien county through developing family oriented communities with joint programs, services and regulatory alignment among the active municipalities.
Programs: Coordination of festivals, parades, events, ribbon cuttings to promote new and existing businesses in the coloma and watervliet area. Specific program events and accomplishments include: visitor information center and tourist guide; with 10,000 guides printed and distributed community programs included: st. Patrick's day evening lighted parade, coloma music in the park, halloween in the park, and community golf outing annual business recognition and community service awards administered the revolving loan fund to local businesses ribbon cutting at six businesses legislative luncheon with municipal leaders community representation on the watervliet lakeland community hospital foundation board and the berrien county economic development board facilitated donations for the paw paw river clean-up program
