Mission: Operating aquarium for education of the general public in marine sciences.
Programs: The aquarium of niagara is a not-for-profit educational and recreational institution located in downtown niagara falls, educating visitors of all ages about marine life and environmental sciences for over 50 years. As the only aquarium within 100 miles, we are home to 11 unique marine mammals of which, 10 are rescue animals along with 7 penguins and 120 different species of fish. Always looking forward, the aquarium is excited about the anticipated completion of our new $3. 2 million humboldt penguin exhibit in early 2018, further connecting people with nature in an engaging manner while providing the very best in animal welfare.
