Causes: Community Improvement & Capacity Building
Mission: To advance the living conditions of retired workers, the elderly, and their families by creating a network of organizations of retired workers to educate retired workers and the general public on issues of importance to seniors.
Programs: The new york state alliance for retired americans provided assistance to our six regional chapters as they held organizational and programmatic meetings during the year. Staff and volunteers also coordinated advocacy and educational campaigns throughout the year.
