Nonprofit Overview
Mission: New York Psychoanalytic Society & Institute (NYPSI) draws upon its over one hundred years of tradition and innovation to address the challenges of the twenty-first century, in keeping with its mission: To promote excellence in the teaching, research, and provision of psychoanalytic treatment and the application of psychoanalytic principles in advisory, consultative, educational, and therapeutic services to the New York metropolitan community.

Programs: Affordable talk therapy through our Treatment Center. We offer both Psychotherapy & Psychoanalysis (intense therapy 4-5 times per week) to children, teens and adults. These talk therapies can help individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, parenting challenges, relationship issues, poor self-esteem, and more. Fees are based on the applicant's income. No insurance is needed to use our services, and no one is turned away for lack of funds.
