Causes: Health, Patient & Family Support
Mission: The goal of the new york cancer center is to provide patients with the knowledge, hope and support that will empower them to take an active role in their treatment and healing options.
Programs: Medical referrals - provided approximately 100-120 patients and their families with referrals to care providers and professionals in coping with the side effects of cancer.
integrative therapy - provided integrative therapy to approximately 140-150 patients. The center is designed to support each patient as a whole individual, integrating the healing of body with mind and spirit.
wellness escapes - cancer is an enormous challenge and sometimes the best choice is to just get away from "reality" and give cancer patients an opportunity to gain new strength, energy and momentum. Provided approximately 100-120 patients with day trips, weekend spa retreats, holiday parties, pool parties and more.
