New Life Project has helped numerous women coming out of prison or jail in it's 18 years of existence. Because it is a Christian 501(c)3, New Life doesn't receive any big government grants, but operates on individual, business, and church donations, as well as local grants.
Funding is always an issue. The New Life House has 5 bedrooms with the capacity for 7 residents.
Women who come to the house agree to maintain sobriety, attend a church of their choice and Bible Study, counseling, Celebrate Recovery, and to become employed full-time. Budgeting, cooking, and other life skills are taught.

New Life House has been helping women just getting out of jail or prison for over 17 years.
New Life is a Christian not-for-profit 501c3.
Maintaining sobriety is the first rule.
The residents are required to attend the church of their choice, recovery groups, and counseling, and practice life-skills such as budgeting, meal planning, and time-management. The resident must be employed full-time, and volunteer in the community as well.
The Christian standards of behavior are high, and educated staff and board members are always on hand to guide the resident . So many women work hard and become ready to leave the house and start their ' New Life!' New LIfe is funded only through the generosity of local churches, individuals , businesses and local grants. To make a donation to New Life Project, please send it to New Life House, P.O. Box 1947, Lebanon, MO 65536. All contributions are tax deductible.

The new life house is not a good place to go if your trying to do good. I moved back home because I couldn't stand to be there anymore. I'm still clean but it is in no part from their help.

Members of New Life Project turned in a false insurance claim in order to make improvements they otherwise could not make due to the lack of finances.
