Causes: Arts & Culture, Education, Historical Organizations, Libraries, Museums
Mission: The new jersey historical society collects, preserves, teaches, and interprets new jersey history through our archives, research library, and educational programs. We do so in the belief that an understanding and appreciation of historical issues, decisions, and actions can inform and inspire the people of new jersey.
Programs: Museum - curate exhibits and develop programs that educate the public and preserve the past, present and future of new jersey.
library - maintain the society's library which is one of the largest repositories of new jersey history.
education - to increase the understanding of new jersey history to children, families, students, organizations, scholars and the general public through educational programs.
