Examples include: - annual new jersey non-profit issues and trends surveys - rapid response surveys - serving as a resource to the news media about new jersey non-profit needs and issues - educational presentations about non-profit topics to diverse audiences - website articles and publications - convening and fostering connections among non-profit organizations, their champions, and partners in government and for-profits to enhance collaborations and collective strength

technical assistance/capacity building - advancing knowledge and best practices through management and compliance assistance, workshops, training, publications, and individualized assistance, the center advances knowledge and promotes best practices to foster effective, ethical organizations in furtherance of the public good. By providing direct services and serving as a gateway to other resources for non-profits, the center helps organizations pursue their missions more efficiently and successfully. Ongoing programs and services include: - high-quality management and compliance information - our non-profit helpdesk expert information and referral service (over 1500 inquries answered per year) - timely online and email news and articles - workshops and webinars - a clearinghouse for job postings, events, referrals and other resources
