Causes: Developmentally Disabled Centers, Disabilities, Human Services
Mission: To provide programs and services in northern arizona which encourage and empower people with disabilities to self-determine the goals and activities of their lives.
Programs: Disability advocacy is a major program of the center. To follow are list people served in regards to advocacy:staff participated in 700. 50 hours of community activities. Provided 487 peer counseling services. Provided 1653 information and referral services. Provided il skills training and life skills training to 94 people. Helped 31 people become gainfully employed.
transportation:due to community, federal, and state support, the organization was able to provide discounted fees for transportation services to their clients. The organization provided 22,810 rides to disabled and elderly clients.
