Minority serving institutions ("msi") and public policy and international affairs fellowship projects ("ppia") are used to advance diversity in public affairs education. Student simulation: a daylong competition for graduate students at naspaa schools to work together to solve a complex public policy problem by using simulation. membership services: member advisory service is available to train consultants to advise schools on their programs and membership development related to recruitment of new members and retention of old members is ongoing. Naspaa provides support services to its membership that focuses on all aspects of public policy affairs and administration. Naspaa next is a leadership development institute in public affairs education that provides emerging leaders at member schools with practical tools that will enable them to become more engaged and dynamic members of their campuses and communities.
