Mission: The Neotropical Ornithological Society is a professional scientific society for those who study the birds of the neotropics. We promote ornithological research and education in the neotropics.
Programs: The primary activities of the NOS are a peer-reviewed scientific journal and a quadrennial scientific meeting devoted to discussion of the study of birds in the neotropics.
