Mission: The mission of the neighbor helping neighbor fund is to help utility customers, who do not qualify for other energy assistance programs, with emergency energy assistance grants designed to prevent the disconnection of their utility service.
Programs: Residential customers of participating utility members who are subject to disconnection of service or ineligible for other assistance may apply for emergency energy assistance through the five community action program cap agencies in the state.
