Mission: To build community, we identify, equip and resource christ-centered leaders and ministries serving the spiritual and physical needs of people in springfield and clark county.
Programs: Ministry grants development: through the help of businesses, individuals and churches the foundation currently supports christ-centered leaders whose programs reach over 6,000 families a week. The foundation equips leaders to lead and grow their organization through development training offered on various non-profit and leadership development topics.
clark county community connectors: provides mentor training, content mentor instructional support, and operational support to the careerconnected center for mentoring programs operated by the springfield city school district. The community connectors program seeks to strengthen our community, encourage mentoring opportunities and create new pathways for civic engagement that will result in higher educational achievement, higher levels of well-being and health, and workforce readiness.
springfield city schools contractual partnerships: closing the achievement gap (ctag) - places 4 "linkage coordinator" in 8 elementary schools within the springfield city school district to work with targeted students and their families by linking them with programs in the community that address reading and math needs. 21st century grant afterschool program provides 2 employees to a selected city elementary school to build afterschool programming around tutoring, social skills, healthy living and parent engagement.
mentoring program: links caring and consistent adults with school-aged youth in order to promote positive choices for their futures. The program promotes the development of ongoing, positive, role modeling relationships between one adult and one at-risk school-aged youth.
