Mission: The corporation is established to promote and encourage the highest quality and professionalism in the practice of law in the navajo nation and in the judicial system thereof; to recommend to the navajo nation supreme court candidates for admission to practice law before the navajo courts; to encourage and assist in the establishment of comprehensive training programs for persons desiring to practice in the navajo courts and to insure the maintenance of high standards for such training.
Programs: Navajo nation bar association, inc. Offers an annual conference in order to offer an opportunity for continuing legal education credits for the membership and a forum for the membership to meet, offer support, and discuss timely legal issues impacting the practice of law. Members of the navajo nation bar association, inc. Are encouraged to be presenters, as well as assist the executive director, board of commissioners, and officers in the organization of the event. Percentage of time devoted to activity:30%.
