They take comfort knowing there are people who understand what they are going through and there is a place to contact if they should ever need information or support.

By contacting our organization, they can acquire the knowledge to manage their healthcare so they can find the best treatment(s) possible for their symptoms. Through the support received from the call to the 1-800 hotline, conversations with the nsta staff and contact people and by attending support group meetings, callers will gain self-confidence and assurance by knowing they are not the only ones with st and there are people that understand. The nsta responded to 754 phone calls to the nsta requesting information and support and mailed the callers information that includes the treatments available for cervical dystonia.
