Mission: The comte de grasse chapter, nsdar, is a non-profit, non-political volunteer women's service organization dedicated to promoting patriotism, preserving american history, and securing america's future through the education of the public.
Programs: Group is subordinate of nsdar and supports the policies and programs of nsdar as prescribed by its charter including civic, patriotic, educational, and historic groups.
organization owns the custom house in colonial yorktown which was built in 1706 and is listed in both the national register of historic places and the virginia landmark registry. The building is maintained through dues, contributions, and fundraising events. In 2011 we had to replace the heating system which was over 50 years old.
in support of the nsdar, the chapter contributed to the president general's project
