Mission: Nohvcc develops and provides a wide spectrum of programs, materials and information, or "tools", to individuals, clubs, associations and agencies in order to further a positive future for responsible ohv recreation.
Programs: Workshops provide training to promote responsible ohv recreation by effective management. Workshops include: us forest service travel management workshops, trail sustainability workshops, ohv recreation management workshops and state association development workshops. Workshops can be customized to meet specific needs of a local group or area.
the annual nohvcc conference brings the nohvcc state partners, land managers, industry representatives and specialists in land management together for face-to-face networking and experiencing presentations on various topics of interest. Mobile workshops as well as classroom type sessions are held over 3 to 4 days. The meeting is held in various locations and is also the nohvcc annual meeting where elections are held.
nms projects work in cooperation and partnership with land management agencies, land owners, and ohv enthusiasts to improve management of ohv recreation on federal, state, county, city and private lands by providing expertise in a variety of areas that will result in higher quality recreational experiences while protecting the natural resources. Nms projects are requested by various entities, private and governmental. The primary role is to serve in an advisory role, helping to find specific solutions, the right expertise, guidance and resources to solve challenges related to ohv management.
