Mission: Transform information into action in the form of increased energy efficiency. Enerchange serves the nonprofit community by helping them save energy and money as a result of conservation and efficiency implementation.
Programs: Nonprofit client evaluation and assistance with energy conservation implementation. 2017 saw the delivery of services for the first year of a three-year funding period after going through the through the rigorous triennial application process in 2016. We experienced some serious challenges and suggestions for improvement through the commentary phase of that process. We believe we have risen to those challenges in 2017 and responded with improvements and refinements in our program and its direction. In so doing, our organization has become significantly stronger, more productive and effective, and better prepared for future growth. 2017 highlights include: o another exceptional year in terms of the return on the utility ratepayers' conservation improvement program investmento our reach and impact on energy efficiency implementation in the nonprofit community continues to be significant with 2017 results as follows: o 200 clients implemented projects in 2017 o annual electric savings of 4,186,423 kwh o annual gas savings of 124,229 therms o 6. 9 million pounds of co2 reductiono continued impact in a wide range of community sectors - worship, education, small offices, healthcare and multi-family.
