Mission: Promote standardization of greyhound dog breeding and racing.
Programs: Greyhound track activities - provides registered dog owners an opportunity to compete with dogs of the same age class for purposes of schooling on a race track.
nga provides an avene for breeders to assemble at semi-annual meets to offer dogs for sale at auction. Nga acts as agent for the transaction, thereby collecting the bid payment from the purchaser and disbursing the payment to the seller, less a commission to the nga for sponsoring the events.
nga, by edit of the bylaws of the association, provides a monthly publication, "the greyhound review". A magazine and hardbound books that give breeding and racing informaiton, including care of the greyhound in order to enhance the sport and care of the dogs.
