Causes: Camps, Environment, Forest Conservation, Natural Resources Conservation & Protection, Sports, Water, Water Resources, Wetlands Conservation & Management
Mission: The NFF works with communities and organizations to conserve and enhance the watersheds, wildlife habitat and wild places across our 193-million-acre National Forest System.
Programs: Forest service grants: maintain and upgrade visitor amenities, trails, and interpretive displays; improve access and understanding of national forest resources; restore habitat of native species; promote recreational facilities and responsible appreciation of wildlife.
conservation: protect and restore natural resources and forest landscapes. Methods include prescribed burning, erosion control, re-vegetation and eradication of exotic species.
membership and education: provide information and learning opportunities to increase awareness of importance of conservation with an emphasis on youth outreach.
