Programs: Center for women:our center for women provides supportive services for women and children. Our career services program provides support to all women looking to re-enter the job market. One of our major career service programs is our displaced homemaker program, which services women who are or have become the primary wage earners in their families due to death, divorce, a disabled spouse or someone in the military. Our career services program provides support to all women looking to re-enter the job market. Additional services are legal assistance, programs which improve self esteem and self empowerment for women and girls, impact finance which provides small loans to women looking to improve themselves economically, funding or educational certification programs, support groups for children who suffered a loss, and our teen datingabuse awareness program.

back 2 school store:ncjw has outfitted 700 children in essex county with a complete set ofnew clothing, including socks and underwear, a new backpack, a newwinter coat, sneakers, toiletries, and new school supplies. Ncjw/essexhas also provided the parents of these children with information,resources and support services

volunteer outreach:the volunteer outreach project provides a wide range of volunteer opportunities,volunteer recognition, and additional services to members. Volunteer outreach projects include creative hands - a projectwhich provides handmade knitted goods to local agencies, and the eskowcommunity service award which provides cash awards to local high schoolseniors involved in community service. The volunteer outreach alsooffers a wide range of one shot volunteer opportunities called mitzvah in a minute.
