Mission: National council for advanced manufacturing (nacfam) is dedicated to enhancing the productivity of all tiers of u. S. -based manufacturing by providing leadership in workforce skills, standards development, technology development and deployment, and partnership building between public and private enterprises.
Programs: Conference and meetings - nacfam's annual policy conference focuses on america's "top 3" manufacturing policy priorities and making them happen. Nacfam's advanced manufacturing leadership forum meeting is also held annually. The conference and meeting provides events and forums for collaboration on important topics to the members and the advanced manufacturing community.
contract services and education - nacfam has helped build national policies and programs designed to accelerate the development and deployment of advanced technologies and related workforce skills. Nacfam's actvities includes "fee for service" projects and grant awards. Nacfam focuses on research, collaboration, and disseminaton of topics pertinent to the advanced manufacturing community. Nacfam also provides education on issues important to the advanced manufacturing community and provides communication through news-letters, editorials, economic summaries, white papers and speaking engagements.
