Causes: Chambers of Commerce & Business Leagues
Mission: The national association for athletics compliance's (naac's) mission is to improve the overall understanding and effectiveness of the athletics compliance profession while upholding the ideals of higher education.
Programs: In june 2017 naac held a convention in conjunction with conventions held by eight other groups of collegiate athletic administrators. 400 members and nonmembers around the country met in orlando, fl to discuss current issues in athletic compliance, attend presentations and elect officers
naac sponsors a certification program whereby professionals receive training that reinforces the core competencies necessary to develop an ethical, integrity-based compliance program. Successful participants are recognized as having a working knowledge of current ncaa legislation, its application, and available resources. The program provides accesss to best practices and association-approved reasonable standards.
