Programs: The foundation provides support to local veterans and their families by offering services at no cost. In 2017 the foundation provided 750 clients with over 10,000 services. The foundation operates two outreach centers: one in plymouth, ma and the second in middleboro, ma. The troops in transit program provides veterans transportation to medical appointments at va facilities in 16 towns on the south shore of ma. Additionally, the foundation has initiated a wellness program, providing services such as a food pantry, cycling, social activities and advocating for veterans. The foundation owns a piece of property that has become the three harts farm veterans growing opportunities located at 232 beaver dam road, plymouth, massachusetts. Three harts farm veterans growing opportunities allows veterans and their families to participate in volunteer, peer to peer and family activities, stroll along walking trails, practice agricultural farming techniques, plant and harvest heirloom vegetables and herbs from seed, learn how to dry herbs, and learn how to practice organic farming without pesticides seven days a week for veterans and their families.
