Causes: Mental Health, Mental Health Treatment
Mission: The mission of our organization is to provide a better quality of life for those with a mental illness and their families through support to persons with serious brain disorders and to their families; advocacy for nondiscriminatory and equitable, federal, state and private-sector policies, and research into the causes and treatments for brain disorder.
Programs: There are support groups provided for individuals affected by mental illness and another group provided for family members, caregivers and friends. In each of these groups, individuals come together to help one another deal with the impact and effects of mental illness.
