Nonprofit Overview
Causes: Mental Health, Mental Health & Crisis Intervention
Mission: We are a grass roots organization of families and individuals whose lives have been affected by mental illness. We advocate for lives of quality and respect, without discrimination and stigma, for all of our constituents. We provide leadership and advocacy, legislation, policy development, education and support throughout montgomery county.
Programs: We provide support groups for individuals dealing with mental illness in their family and for individuals diagnosted with mental illness. We provide educational courses on the nature, treatment, etiology, and current research on mental illness. We offer a comprehensive newsletter for members 10 times a year and a comprehensive lending library of books, videos and magazines on all topics related to mental illness.
