Mission: Mission: to assist the department of hawaiian home lands (dhhl), a state of hawaii governmental agency, to carry out its mission of managing the hawaiian home lands trust effectively and to develop and deliver lands to native hawaiians.
Programs: Partnered with the state of hawaii department of hawaiian home lands (dhhl) and completed replacement and upgrade of an existing, aging water line to accommodate the construction of affordable housing, to ensure continued service of potable water to a rural, low-income neighborhood on the island of moloka'i and to improve fire protection to the area. Approximately 584 households will benefit from the water system improvements on moloka'i. The kaka'ina water/wastewater system project is currently in progress with an estimated completion date of march 2015. The project's purpose is to provide access to safe drinking water and sanitary wastewater collection for the proposed 44 single famly dwellings in the kaka'ina subdivision located in waimanalo on the island of o'ahu. The project consists of constructing an onsite water distribution system and a wastewater collection system within the kaka'ina subdivision.
