Mission: A. Conduct and sponsor horse sports and events for the city of mulvane, ks and surrounding community. B. Provide education and training to the community regarding equestrian sports, handling and care, and safety. C. Conduct and support charitable programs which advance the teaching and appreciation of equestrian sports and safety. D. Promote such other charitable and educational endeavors as may be permitted under section 501(c)(3) of the internal revenue code of 1986, as amended ("code"), or (ii) by a corporation, contributions to which are deductible under section 170(c)(2) of the code.
Programs: Each year the organization makes its facilities available to the community for various equestrian programs, a rodeo, etc. That coincides with the "old settler's day" festival hosted by the mulvane community. All monies earned from these events are used to further the organizations exempt purpose.
each year during the months of may to september the organization allows its facilites to be used monthly for a "obstacle trail horse course" event and clinic. All monies earned from these events are used to further the organizations exempt purpose.
each year the organization makes its facilites available for the "fowler memorial roping event". Contestant fees and donations less prize expenses are used to further the organizations exempt purpose.
