Mission: The mudd nick foundation's main purpose and mission is to broaden the horizons of primarily grade and middle school children in north tillamook county oregon. We provide life expanding programs for these children through sponsored programs away from school. Each program is targeted to encourage children to be responsible for their actions, respect themselves and others, maintain high integrity, exhibit socially accepted behavior, expand their minds, life experiences, and curiosities, and have fun responsibly.
Programs: Cross school programs and support included px2 training, art day camps in the summer, omsi camps, bay city art center camps, 4h camps, summer grub club program. The px2 training gives children the necessary skills to make good life decisions.
middle school programs and support included osu and psu campus visits, field trips to the oregon coast aquarium, the zoo experience, the real life exhibit, and the chinese garden, day of service, and crow canyon archeology camp.
garibaldi grammar school programs and support included support for the odyssey of the mind teams, field trips to the oregon zoo, oregon children's theater, and the tillamook cheese factory, northwest children's theater classroom outreach, student art reception and dinner, and the battle of the books.
nehalem elementary school programs and support included field trips to the oregon children's theater, the oregon zoo, the maritime museum,the newmark theater, and the shell fishing trip, the art mom program support, the battle of the books, support for the junior mudd nick program, and the nehalem valley care center visit program.
nehalem high school programs and support included the crow canyon archeology camp, piano donation, abbey's closet field trip, and blazer game.
north county recreation district (ncrd) support included the nes swim program, sports equipment and shirts, forest to sea program, and the theater camp program.
special needs children support included the down syndrome buddy walk.
